A Little Bit of Time

The date

It was 5:30 when I remembered the date. "Shit I don't know what to wear," I looked at the time," oh my gosh I'm going to be really late!"

Rushing around I finally found an outfit to wear. I was going to be wearing light denim colored jeans that flared out at the end with a loose fitting red v-neck shirt as well as my red converse. By the time I was done getting dressed I only had 10 minutes till he picked me up. As fast as I could I brushed my teeth and pulled back my bangs. Then I hurried to put on mascara and lipgloss. Right as I finished putting on what little make up I put on I heard a knock on the door. Rushing down the stairs I opened the door. There stood Derek with a bouquet of red roses in his hand.

" These are for you," he said.

" Thank you, you didn't have to get me flowers you know right?"

" I wanted to though" he said.

" Now let's get this date started," Derek murmured

" Let's go then," I replied back. After I said that Derek and I started walking towards his black camaro. As we got to his car he opened the door for me.
" Thank you," I said with a huge smile on my face.
" You're welcome," he murmured ever so slightly with a smile on his face. He then got in the car and started it.
" So where are we going?" I questioned
" It's a surprise," replied Derek
After about half an hour of driving we pulled into a parking lot that had a huge screen on the wall of the brick building.
" Is this a drive in movie?" I questioned amazed.
" Yeah it is do you not like it? If you don't we can-"
I cut him off quickly," no it's perfect I've never been to one of these before."
" That's great that you like it I was unsure of it at first since I didn't know if you would like it or not." he said
After he said that the movie started so we stopped talking and started watching it although I think Derek was watching me instead of the movie.
About two and a half hours later the movie was over and we were in the car driving to my house. We had pulled into my driveway and were just sitting there when Derek grabbed my face and kissed me. Our kiss was a slow but long passionate kiss. After about two minutes of kissing I finally pulled away biting my lip.
" I should go since we're at my house...to drop me off," I said slowly
" Yeah you should go," was Derek's reply
" I'll see you soon right?" I asked
" Yeah you will I promise but I have to go bye."
" Bye"

Sorry I haven't updated in forever but I guess I just got caught up with school and the new year that I forgot my stories but I promise to try and update whenever I can and if it wouldn't be any trouble can you guys please comment ideas for the next chapter so I know what you guys want to read and I'll take your ideas into consideration thanks!-Kylee
