A Little Bit of Time

An Interesting Dinner

After about five hours of work my shift finally ended. On my way home I decided to stop by the grocery and get some things for dinner. I had decided to make Chicken Alfredo. When I got home I put everything away except for the things I needed. I took a quick shower and quickly got dressed before rushing down the stairs and into the kitchen and noticed that my dad and Derek were already in there looking at the ingredients asking each other what they thought I was making. As soon as I heard my dad say fettuccine I started laughing causing the both of them to turn towards me in shock but what my dad said next had me on the ground rolling.
" I told you she was a ninja!" My dad hollered. It took me twenty minutes to stop laughing.
" Dad you are so dumb," I said laughing.
" Well what are you making?" Dad asked curiously.
" I'm making Chicken Alfredo."
After that happened I started cooking. About an hour later I was done making dinner. As of right now everyone is seated at the table.
" So mom how was your day?" I asked.
" It was great," she answered," we saved someone's life today."
" What happened to them?"
" Let's not talk about this while eating." my dad said anxiously.
" Dad why are you anxious?"
" I got a part in the new horror movie that's coming out next fall." he said excitedly.
" That's great honey." my mom said with a smile on her face.
" So Chloe what did you do at Derek's last night?"
I was so shocked that my mom asked that question that I ended up spitting my drink on my dad causing me to apologize to him and then answer the question.
" I don't know what you're talking about."
" Yes you do I went in your room last night to tell you something but you weren't there."
" I just ended up staying the night because it was late and I was tired so Derek just drove us to his house."
" Are you sure because I'm pretty sure you two didn't just sleep."
" Well that's my que to leave so excuse me and I'm going to go to my room."
After I said that I practically shot up from my seat at the table and ran to my room. The whole time I was thinking oh my god I can't believe that she asked that and how would she know what we did.

Sorry it's short I promise I'll write a longer chapter soon. So in the next chapter Derek and his pack as well as Alison and the others will be in it just letting you guys know.~Kylee
