A Little Bit of Time

A Awkward Conversation

I was walking as fast as I could so they wouldn't catch up to me but I was to slow. Almost instantly I felt a hand wrap around my arm as tight as it could causing me to wince from the pain going through my arm. I immediately tried to get Erica's hand off of my arm but it wouldn't work. Stupid werewolf strength so what if I was talking about them they could at least stop holding my arm as tight as possible.

" Why were you and Scott talking about Derek's and my pack?" Erica sneered at me

Smirking I replied back," You mean mine and Derek's pack considering I'm Derek's mate."

Erica was looking really shocked that I had just admitted that Derek and I were mates which in all honesty I don't think I should've told them that because now Erica just looked really angry.

"What do you mean you and Derek are mates!" Erica practically spat out emphasizing the words you and mates

"Um you know wolves mate for life and werewolves do too huh well would you look at the time I have to get to class." I nervously said

"You aren't going anywhere in fact we're going to pay a visit to our alpha." Erica practically laughed in my face thinking I was scared of Derek when I was honestly scared for her.

About a half an hour later we were at Derek's loft. I knew that Derek knew I was there considering the moment we walked through the doors he had me in his arms while he glared at his betas causing them to look down in shame except for Erica who was sitting there gawking at the affection Derek was showing me. The only reason Derek was doing this in front of them was because he was being protective and a bit possessive of his mate.

"Who dragged my mate here?" Derek practically spat the question at his betas who almost instantly looked at Erica.

"Erica did you drag my mate here against her will?" Derek questioned yet again waiting on Erica's reply which was a simple nod.

"Why did you drag her here Erica?" He basically spat her name causing her to flinch away.

"She was talking about us...her and Scott were talking about us!" She practically yelled at him which then caused her eyes to widen since she just realized she had yelled at her alpha.

"Were you and Scott talking about us?" Derek questioned me softly while looking down at me

"Scott was just telling me to stay away from you guys and I asked him why and he said you guys were bad people but I told them I had to go but I know that isn't true that's why I walked away." I replied back just as softly as him considering I was looking into Derek's beautiful jade colored eyes.

"So you weren't talking about any of us it was just Scott and Stiles right?" Derek questioned me yet again causing me to reply back with a yes.

Derek then told me to leave and by the look in his eyes I knew to leave because he didn't want me to see him get really angry so that's exactly what I did, I left and went back to school.
