Chapter 25: "Starter Versus Starter"

MAYUKI SHISHIEKO (死氏恵個 真雪)

"Does this will convince you?" Ohana Nee-chan showed me a used TM.

I stare at that used TM for a moment.

"Oh, okay," I said.

"Shall we begin?" I added.

"... ... ..." she didn't say anything and just nodded.

We prepared ourselves for a moment, and then the round two begins.

Ohana Nee-chan let me go attack first

"Eevee, Quick Attack! Go!" I commanded my Eevee.

My little Eevee charged itself to attack Ohana Nee-chan's Charmander.

"Eevee!!" they said.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan did nothing, but glare.

"... ... ..." Charmander took a deep breath, I can see it from them lifting their head up.

Hang on! Is Charmander will going to use Flamethrower?

"Eevee! Stop and use Sand Attack!"

"!!! !!! !!!" Ohana seems very surprised, she must not have known that I just changed my plan on attacking her Charmander.

Right before Charmander starts to breath fire, my little Eevee used Sand Attack. The sand that my Little Eevee spreads inflicts Charmander's eyes.

"Char! Charr!!"

Success!

"Charr..." Charmander rubbing its eyes.

Time to take this opportunity to attack.

"Eevee now! Use Tackle!"

"Eee....veeEEE!" Eevee successfully tackled Charmander.

"Chaaaa!!!" Charmander blown away and falls to the ground.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan didn't say anything, she's just glaring at us.

After a second, she closed her fans, hold the tip in the top and swing it from right to left.

"Char!" Her Charmander stands up charged itself to my little Eevee.

"Eevee! Dodge th---" I didn't managed to finish what I'm about to say when...

"EEVEE!!" Charmander successfully attacked my Eevee and they fall to the ground.

"No way!" I said.

I said that because Charmander's eyes are closed.

"How could they do that?" I said.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan and her Charmander didn't say anything.

Charmander wiped its eyes to clear up the sand from it.

"Eevee, stand up!" I commanded.

"Eee..." my little Eevee stands up and without my next command, they charged itself to attack Charmander.

"Eeeeeee..." Eevee said while running.

"Char!" Charmander successfully cleared the sand from its eyes.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan glared at Eevee.

"... ... ..." Charmander put its head up and then lowers it. The next thing they do is spits fire.

"That's Ember!" I said in my mind.

But Charmander missed because my little Eevee dodged it.

"Eeeee..." my little Eevee is getting near to Charmander.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan did the thing like earlier, and she swings her closed fans from right to left while holding the tip from the top of it.

"Charrr..." Charmander is preparing to counter Eevee's charge.

"...eeEEEeee..." my little Eevee is keep on charging towards Charmander and as they get close. 

"...vee!" They winked, its aggressive voice tone earlier turns into lovely.

"Char?" Charmander hesitates to attack.

"!!! !!!" Ohana Nee-chan and I got surprised about my little Eevee's action.

"Is that..." I said. "Baby Doll Eyes?" I added.

"Baby Doll Eyes?" Ohana Nee-chan said.

"Eevee!!" They turned around and kicks the sand in front of Charmander. Yes, it's another Sand Attack.

"Chaaa!!!" Charmander's face got filled with sand again.

"Char! Char!!" And they started to rub its face again.

"EEEeeeVvvEEeeEeee!!" My little Eevee tackled Charmander.

Charmander didn't get blown away by Eevee's tackle, it got pushed back a little.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan swings her closed fans again.

"ChhaaAAAarr!!" Charmander attempts to slash Eevee. But with its eyes closed.

And without my commands, my little Eevee attempts to dodge Charmander's attack.

Eevee successfully dodged Charmander's attacks, but...I was wrong.

Charmander still managed to strike its attack to my little Eevee even if they get inflicted with Sand Attack.

"Eevee!" My little Eevee said while being striken by Charmander's...Scratch? Slash? Wait! What's that move anyway? That's the same move they used earlier when my little Eevee is attempting to dodge.

As my Eevee gets hit, it blowns away towards me. I catch my Eevee as it reaches me, resulting me being blown away as well due to my Eevee's impact.

Me and my little Eevee falls to the ground.

As I was not expected, I lost the battle again. I saw my little Eevee fainted in my hands.

I sighed and put Eevee back to its ball.

"Good work," I said.

I saw Ohana Nee-chan run towards me.

"Mayuki, are you okay?" She asked and she offers her hand to stand me up.

I hold Ohana Nee-chan's hand and pulls me up.

"Yes, I'm okay," I answered.

"It was a good battle," I added.

"... ... ..." Ohana Nee-chan smiled.
