Chapter 4: Jack's Tsum I

The next day...

Jack arrives at the Savanaclaw Dorm lounge with the Jack Tsum in tow.

"The headmage told me to watch over this Tsum 'til he finds a way to send it back home, so I brought it to the dorm, but man... Cater's Tsum is so well-behaved and lets him hold it. Sereia seems more well-behaved and rather quiet. But this guy won't let anyone touch it at all. It just does its own thing. Even getting it through the mirror was a hassle," Jack says, struggling to hold the Jack Tsum, "Why's it gotta be so prickly? I got saddled with a real pain in the neck, just 'cause it happens to look like me. But it also tries to keep up with me on my morning runs. I can't make heads or tails of this thing... Hm?"

Suddenly, he notices a group of students in the lounge.

"Morning, guys. Aren't you up early," Jack says.

However, when he arrives at the group, he notices the Savanaclaw students are in tears.

One student says, "Augh... Housewarden..."

Another student says in tears, "What are we supposed to do now?"

"Wha... Why are you all crying?" Jack asks, shocked.

Soon, Ruggie says, "I can't believe this happened to Leona..."

"You're upset too, Ruggie?" Jack questions. He then asks, "What's going on? What's wrong with Leona?!

"Jack, you won't believe it! Leona... He's..." Ruggie explains and soon cries out, "HE'S TURNED INTO SOME WEIRD, ADORABLE CREATURE!"

And soon reveal a creature that looks like Leona. It's actually a Tsum form of Leona.

Jack quickly recognizes it, "Huh? Wait a minute..."

"Today's our dorm's big cleaning day, so I got up early for it. That's when I found Leona like this, all belly-up on the floor in front of his room. Maybe he drank some strange transformation potion. He was fine the last time I saw him yesterday! Just lettin' out a huge yawn like usual. To think that lazy expression was the last look of his I'd ever see... Oh, it's too much!" Ruggie says in distress.

The students cry out, "IT'S SO TRAGIC!"

Just then, the real Leona walks in, and says with a frown, "How stupid can you guys get?"

Noticing Leona, Ruggie cries out, "LEONA?! You're okay?! Then what is this thing?"

"Didn't ANY of you see my Magicam post last night?" Leona questions.

"Well, no..." Ruggie answers, "We all turned in early so we could get a head start on today, and then we were too busy panicking."

"Can't believe this little guy just came waltzin' up to my room. Ugh..." Leona says, frustrated and annoyed.

Then turns to Jack, "Jack, you give 'em the rundown on the Tsums."

"Yessir," Jack says.

Leona sighs, "Sheesh. This thing's already givin' me a headache. Just great. I'm goin' out," And soon takes his leave.

And the Leona Tsum follows after it.

Ruggie is surprised, "Whoa! The little guy just slipped outta my arms and went after Leona... It was just lying there before, but now it's bouncing around... Maybe it likes Leona?"

"It doesn't look all that interested to me - they're not even facing each other. Hard to imagine what they'd do together..." Jack says.

Then Ruggie notices the Jack Tsum, "Hey, you've got one of those little doppelgangers with you too. What's the deal?"

Jack then explains about what happened the night before that some of the students including himself, have found strange small creatures of themselves, and are given the name Tsum Tsums, Tsum for short..

"And that's where things stand," Jack says.

"Wow, okay. So you saw a mysterious light, and then a Tsum that looks like you fell from the sky," Ruggie says, "Talk about bizarre. Oh well, sucks to be you. Have fun tsumsitting!" and leaves the scene.

"Real supportive there, Ruggie..." Jack says, annoyed.

But soon notices the Tsum is not around, "...Hey. I don't see the Tsum. Where'd it go?" He sniffs around.

And soon enough, Jack finds the Jack Tsum rolling around the dorm, and pretty fast too.

"It's wandering around the dorm again! That thing can roll FAST. Ugh, so much for my morning run. And I could've gotten in a whole set of push-ups and sit-ups in the amount of time it took to explain everything. I'm done letting this thing take up my training time. I'm gonna catch it and make it settle down!" And soon Jack runs off to chase the Tsum.
