In the Pomefiore Dorm Lounge, Epel is having his own problems with his Tsum counterpart. Epel Tsum keeps running around and it's dirty.

Epel Tsum cries out, "Slow down! C'mon, you're not supposed to run in the halls here!"

Then starts jumping up and down all over the place.

Epel shouts, "And you're definitely not supposed to hop around!"

Then says, "You were rolling all over the courtyard and walkways without a care. Now you're all dirty. Vil says a beautiful dorm spirit starts with a beautiful lounge, so we deep-clean this room every day."

Finally, Epel is able to grab his Tsum and won't let it go.

"If you track dirt on the carpet, you'll get stuck scrubbing it until you can't move your arms. And I'd be right there with you!" Epel says, feeling tired, "Look, horsin' around would be fine and dandy if we were back home in Harveston... But Pomefiore's real strict about manners. So would you please try to behave?"

But then Epel Tsum slips away from Epel and starts running and hopping around again.

Epel sighs, "So much for that. It's just in one ear and out the other with this little fella... Well, crud. If Vil saw my Tsum acting like this, he'd accuse me of 'negligent oversight'..."

And right on cue, Epel hears footsteps and looks to see Vil and Rook enter the room.

Hearing Epel's comment, Vil says, "Why, yes. You know me so well."

"Greetings, Epel. Are you building the beautiful bond of friendship with your Tsum companion?" Rook says.

Epel is surprised, "Vil! And Rook's here too... Boy, I just had to jinx it."

"I was wondering what all the commotion was," Vil says and looks at the mess the Tsum caused, "What is this oversized peanut doing? Was it raised in a barn? I allowed the Tsum in our dorm because you were acting under the headmage's orders. But I never gave it permission to make a mess. You're supposed to be responsible for it. Teach it some manners."

"But it doesn't talk. I can't tell what it's thinking," Epel says.

Epel Tsum shrugs in response.

Then Rook says, "Ah, so a language barrier impedes your relationship... I suppose that's to be expected with such a strange creature."

"Plenty of creatures become our companions without the aid of human language," Vil points out.

Then Vil says, "Regardless, I'll not allow this ill-mannered peanut stay in Pomefiore unless it behaves. If I see any more horseplay, you and your charge will be removed from the premises."

"Yes, sir..." Epel replies with a sigh.

He then turns to the Tsum, "C'mon, Tsum. Let's wash off all that dirt. The shower room's just down the hall to the right."

But the Epel Tsum hops to the left.

"I said the RIGHT! You're going left!" Epel scolds the Tsum and grabs it.

"It doesn't look like they'll come to an understanding any time soon. Just when will we be able to send those things back to where they belong? This does not bode well for our dorm," Vil says.

Rook chuckles, "Heh, heh. I'm most excited to see how their hearts and minds will come together."
