Chapter 6: Cater's Tsum I

Meanwhile on Main Street, Cater and his Tsum counterpart are doing a photoshoot.

Cater holds out his phone, "Turn this way, Tsummy! Aaand, pose!"

Cater Tsum strikes a pose, and Cater snaps a picture.

Cater looks at the picture, "Lookin' good! I knew Main Street would be the PERFECT backdrop for a little photo sesh. This colorful Cay-Cay Tsum really pops against the monochrome Great Seven statues!"

Cater Tsum happily hops in response.

"These shots are great already, but I bet a filter would really kick things up a notch. Magicam's got so many to choose from," Cater says, and looks at his phone, "Hm, maybe Caramel for this one, to warm it up a bit..."

Just then, Cater Tsum climbs up Cater, and towards his arms to get a closer look at his phone.

Cater notices it, "Hm? What's up, Tsummy? You're staring at my phone. Interested in my Magicam feed? Actually, I'm p. sure it's watched me every time I've opened the app..."

And soon, Cater Tsum begins scrolling the phone with his tummy.

Cater is impressed, "Whoa! it's scrolling with its tummy! Talk about ab control!"

But then quickly says, "Hey, hey, slow down! I'm trying to touch up your pics!"

Then Cater Tsum stops and floats off.

Cater soon notices, "Wait... it changed the filter from Caramel to Artsy. And it bumped up the saturation too... Little Tsummy's much more vivid in the pic now, and the outer edges have got a vignette effect going on... The whole composition's giving off an artistic flair! And is very surprised, "The retro vibe I was going for was solid, but this has 'cammable written all over it!"

Cater Tsum jumps in response,

"Was this all your idea? You've got an eye for this stuff!" Cater comments with a smile.

Cater Tsum hops in response.

"Yup, this little guy knows what'll get likes online. And it's big into trends too. It was glued to the limited-time menu when we swung by the Mostro Lounge earlier. If Tsummy had a Magicam account, it'd go big for sure. I'm starting to think we have more in common than just our rugged good looks!" Cater says.

Cater Tsum preens.

"Now to upload this bad boy to Magicam," Cater says, holding his phone, "What should I tag the post with...?

Just then, a Tsum that looks like Riddle scurries by the pair. Then scurries off. And then, Ace and Deuce run past them, causing Tsum Riddle.

Both Ace and Deuce scream as they run by, "GET BACK HEEERE!"

Cater yelps, "Whoa, Acey and Deucey? And is that Riddle's Tsum? What's going on here?"

Soon, Riddle rushes over with Trey close behind.

Riddle explains, "That Tsum left the dorm without my permission!"

"We've been running all over the place trying to catch it," Trey says.

"Wow, Riddle's tsum's a real rascal, huh..." Cater says, surprised, "Good luck with that, I guess."

Soon, Riddle and Trey chase after it.

Riddle scolds at the Tsum, "TSUM! I ordered you to stop. Did you not hear me?!"

The Riddle Tsum turns to see Riddle, but then runs off.

You've got some nerve, leading me and my card soldiers on a merry chase..." Riddle says with a frown.

Ace reacts in shock, "Cripes... He's gone full-on teapot tyrant. We gotta grab that Tsum fast!"

"Yup, boss's orders. We won't let it escape!" Deuce says.

Then the boys chase after it.

"Keep up the good work, boys!" Cater says, waving goodbye.

Then Trey says, "Riddle's Tsum must have his stubborn streak. Watching that little guy's gotta be an EXPERIENCE... Good thing the Cay-Cay Tsum knows basic social cues!"

Cater Tsum jumps happily in reply.
