We are back to the present time. Let's see how King Sasuke would get his queen by his side.

~~🍂
While fighting King Sasuke realized they were driving him out of the back palace. No matter what strategy he used, there wasn't a way for him to go the way of his queen's quarter. As bodyguard Suigetsu reached his side to aid him, he saw the leader of the land of Whirlpool charging toward him too.

"We finally meet, King Sasuke." Leader Jiraiya said before without waiting wielded his sword against the king who had taken his grandson's heart effortlessly. Maybe because of that he doesn't see his grandson's love as something valuable and takes it for granted.

"Ugh!" King Sasuke grunted at the strength that the elder used in striking him. With that alone, he was able to tell how strong the other's hatred was toward him. He used his sword clashing with the elder one's to push him back.

"You don't think about your grandson at all, do you?"

"I don't need you to tell me that!" Leader Jiraiya found it funny that the young king seemed to be lecturing him when he was no better. He attacked the one who was his grandson's pain without ceasing his pace before looking in the direction of the demanding voice.

"Let go of me!" Consort Haruno demanded before struggling from the two who had grabbed her arms. If it was only one, she could have handled him one way or another but two have made it hard for her to struggle free. And her concern toward the one who was coming for her that she passed by when the other was surrounded by three to four soldiers only made her so angsty that she couldn't keep calm.

"Do you know who I am?!"

"Ah, look at that. Another one who thought she was better than others." Leader Jiraiya sneered disgustingly before signaling the two trusted subordinates of his to change places with him. Before he goes to the one being captured, he questions the king;

"Would you like to live the unjust our people lived, King Sasuke?"

"Don't touch her!" King Sasuke gritted because he knew how his queen would feel if the other was harmed by his own grandfather.

'I won't let you make him blame himself for your actions!'

"Your agitation only fuels my desire to take her life." Leader Jiraiya said bitterly, thinking of the reaction the king would make if it was his grandson who was in danger. He was certain it wouldn't be that same expression.

No matter how his heart screamed in fear, King Sasuke chose to approach his supposed consort as he was certain his queen wanted to handle his grandfather by himself. That was what he saw by his queen's choice to push consort Haruno out of the way in the belief that he would go to her.

'If you expect me to be out of your way, I will give you the time you need. However, my queen, be safe.' King Sasuke thought as he stood beside consort Haruno and watched the grandfather and grandson negotiate. He gritted his teeth, refraining himself from charging toward his queen when his queen fell on his knees. It was to stop both of their people from clashing again, thinking he wanted that. He saw how his queen tried to beg holding his grandfather's leg before he was immobilized. When he saw his queen's grandfather approaching him, he felt distressed.

'Do I really need to battle for life and death with your grandfather, my queen? What should I do? I don't want you to hate me, my queen.'

After they clashed and he ended up being the one losing, King Sasuke regretted only one thing. That he hasn't been able to clear up the misunderstanding of his queen and he hasn't confessed his feelings. And again, his queen comes to his rescue but it ends with his queen hurting severely. The event made him realize many things, one of them was if his queen had to choose to end one of their life,
