When Queen Naruto was able to be on his feet again, it had already been four days and during the four days, he didn't get the chance to catch even a glimpse of the king. When he questioned the eunuch tasked with taking care of him, he was told the king was busy comforting the consort of his who had been scared because of the event she encountered.

'I have wished, that just for once, I could be your priority.' Queen Naruto turned away from the physician who helped him with his wound and was arranging medication as the selfish thought flashed in his mind. He has experienced most of the cruelty in the world, which she is very new to. Of course, as someone who has particularly grown up in the mud, he shouldn't compare himself with a prestigious lady such as the king's woman.

"Your wound seems to be healing well, Your Excellency." The elder physician said and kept to himself what had made the progress this quick. He admits if the Queen had taken his prescription, the other might not be up and sitting like this, at least not this soon. For the queen's good prognosis, he has to thank the one who prescribed the medication that was given to him by His Majesty's eunuch. 

'Whoever you are, you certainly are a promising physician.'

"I have you to thank for my speedy recovery." Queen Naruto smiled at the elder physician and once again thought about how the one at the Crystal residence got the best physician in this palace. He closed his eyes, to tell himself that he was being a brute for not seeing the severity of the other's health.

"Would you mind following with me to the back palace? I did like to repay your generosity."

"... Are you returning to your residence, Your Excellency?" The elder physician was taken aback since he wasn't certain the Queen was supposed to return. The King hasn't told him anything so he assumed the queen was supposed to stay here until the king said otherwise.

"I think going back to where I belong would make me feel better." Queen Naruto stated because he really thought it could be the case and he doesn't want to wait for someone who won't visit him. He should give up on that expectation already, along with stopping himself from being so stubborn.

"Your residence won't run away, I believe, Queen Naruto." The sliding door to the chamber of the recovery lodging was pushed apart without advance notice or announcement and the one who entered was no other than the one in the thought of the queen.

"Your Majesty!" Queen Naruto exclaimed, disbelief displaying on his face. He didn't think His Majesty would show up just when he was thinking about ending everything. Then again, it's not like it mattered to the other, what he felt and thought. Well, at least not in that sense of a lover would feel.

"You should take it easy. Don't make me worry more than this." King Sasuke said after coming to a stop in front of his queen and the elder physician stepped away. He extended his hand and touched the forehead of the one who at first reflexively backed away but managed to correct himself almost as quickly.

"Your fever seemed to have gone down."

"... I am fine already, Your Majesty. Thank you for your concern." Queen Naruto said after finding his voice back after His Majesty said and did something he didn't expect. His Majesty has never touched him, if not needed, and never felt the need to act as lovers in front of others, so why this behavior? Furthermore, he also doubted what His Majesty meant with his fever seeming to be down but refrained himself from asking as he was kinda afraid of the answer to that question. He already felt weak, he doesn't want to make his heart bleed even more.
