A Queen - One

Wow, this story is getting closer and closer to the end. Thinking about it makes me kind of stressed since I added something more and needed to finish that chapter in time to update it. Then, it also makes me happy that one story is coming to an end and I achieved something. 😊

At the hill of the mountain that was the entrance to the land of Whirlpool, a group of four people in disguise was stopped by the two guards guarding the port.

"Show yourself!" One of the guards demanded before grasping the handle of the sword when the four people did not do as they were told. He exchanged a glance with his comrade, to tell the other to be on alert and warn the others in case they were to be in danger.

"Don't you hear what I said? Show yourselves!"

"Which clan are you from? What business do you have here in the land of Whirlpo-" The other one questioned before sheathing his sword from its holder as the ones in disguise pulled down the hoods from their cloaks off their head. They have thought war wasn't upon them but maybe they are all wrong?!

"... King Sasuke! A-alert the soldiers!"

"I am here to see your leader Jiraiya." King Sasuke said calmly despite the signal of the war that went through the bell, alerting the whole Whirlpool by now of their arrival. And he reckoned the one who might have arrived before him by a few hours might be rushing out to assist his grandfather as well.

"Stay right t-there." The guard who feared losing his life stated firmly despite his fear. He directed his sword at the four people who didn't do anything to suggest they were to harm him. He was relieved by that alone and he wished for their leader to arrive soon.

"..." King Sasuke watched the young guard who put up a front despite the fear visible in his gaze without saying anything. He guessed the other hadn't been to the battlefield or had experienced the cruel battle that is a war. Seeing the other's courage, he was reminded of the one he wished to see right now.

'My queen, just quickly come here.'

                    Beneath the cloudy sky that rain seemed to be starting, the leader of the Whirlpool glared at the one who wished to see him. He had thought the other would come with a march of soldiers but the ones in front of him can be counted on his one hand. He wasn't sure if the young king was trying to show him four was enough to wipe out this land.

"What is the meaning of this, King Sasuke?" Leader Jiraiya questioned because he had also hoped, with the resignation of his grandson that they would be able to stay out of the war. It was because he did not wish to see his grandson live in pain if something happened to the one in front of him now. And after letting go of his wrath, he realized, for truly this time, that he had been unreasonable and almost put the people who wished to live freely to be in danger because of him.

"... I am here to escort my queen back home." King Sasuke said after being disappointed at the absence of his queen. He assumed the old man in front of him had forbidden his queen after realizing it might be him after the signal alerting the war.

"Please bring Queen Naruto to hear the royal decree." Bodyguard Suigetsu said after seeing the king turning his way and saw the startle on the faces of the people of Whirlpool. It wasn't hard to assume that the whole lot of Whirlpool had thought Queen Naruto was no more and His Majesty had wedded his queen. They were right that the king had wedded his queen but that queen was now in the land of Whirlpool and not in the kingdom of Leaf.

"Naruto is no queen." Leader Jiraiya stated as he was sure his grandson did not lie to him about the resignation from being a queen of Leaf. He had seen the way his grandson lived as though every day was his last day that it was because his grandson had cut every tie with the one in his heart.
