Epilogue - Laever
At 25 years old, I surpassed the age at which I died. A multitude of events have unfolded over the years, as I had expected. I foresaw her movements, anticipating each step. For the past few years, my sole focus has been meticulously crafting the ultimate battle strategy.
"I will ensure justice is served, mother," I whispered gently while placing my hand on the glass coffin containing my mother. "She will face the consequences of her actions, that, I guarantee." Rage coursed through my veins, and thoughts of revenge consumed my mind. From the moment of my wedding to my exile, I had already mapped out my path to retribution.
She underestimated my keen awareness of her presence. Right from the beginning, I recognized her intentions and the game she was playing. Even as my brothers betrayed me and I returned to Seleirah, her presence did not go unnoticed. The thrill of the game we played together added an element of excitement to my plan.
"Kokoro." I summoned him, and with almost no delay, he stood by my side. "Master," he acknowledged. Glancing over my shoulder, I could see the urgency in his eyes. "She is swiftly on the move, my lady. The eiftress guard all corners of the kingdom, feeding off the populace without restraint." My anger surged. How audacious of her! Allowing her eiftress to roam freely in such a manner.
"So, that is her game. Let us reciprocate in kind." I pivoted, meeting Kokoro's gaze. "Prepare my carriage, issue a proclamation in the name of The Kingdom of Theardas. We shall pay a visit to our old comrades there." A smirk played on my lips. "I am certain they have longed for our return."
