Chapter 21 1/2: The Parties

-Bruno's POV-

Baby come back! I was such a fool for you! I want my baby back damn it!

When she left, I went on the couch and just sat there. Alone. Minutes later, I got 5 texts at the same time.

*LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!* said Alex.

*You're about to be ambushed >:D* texted Jeremy.

*We will drag you my the legs. So sweet! :P* said Brooks.

*BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE MAN!!!!!* said Derek.

*Idk what the other guys are saying but... WE'RE HEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAR! :D muahahahahah!* said Jake.

Oh crap. Please tell me I locked the- the door flew open. I heard screaming. I screamed like a girl when the Mayday Parade gang grabbed my arms and legs. The literally dragged me outside. They dropped me in the car and locked the doors.

"You really should have locked the doors." Jeremy said, looking at me. "You guys scared me shitless! Where are we going anyway?" I said, trying to calm my breathing. "We are going bungee jumping, then a buffet, and finally... clubbing till mid night!" They all cheered and I joined. "So," I said, "Where are we jumping from?" Derek, who was driving, turned and answered, "The Brooklyn Bridge." They all ooed and aaed.

The ride to the Bridge was kinda long, but so worth it! It was late afternoon and you can already see the beautiful lights of all New York. "I'm going to Facebook this. Bruno," Alex said, "Let's get a picture of us and the lights."

After getting in position, the bungee jumping instructor got out picture. He was in the picture to. "Alright fellas,your gonna put on your harnesses," the instructor, Brandon, said, "then I'll tell you the instructions to be safe and what not."

Brandon handed us all harnesses. After we put them on, and me tripping while in the proses while everyone laughed, Brandon told us the instructions. "Now, I will attach these bungee cords to your harness. You will step over this railing, when you are ready you will jump. If you start to chicken out, I will push you. Do I make myself clear?" Brandon spoke really fast. So, we all said yeah.

Jake was the first one to step over the railing. "Who wants to jump with me?!" he yelled. Brooks raised his hand, and went with Jake. They shouted in unison, "1,2,3!" and they were gone. I looked over and they were bouncing and dangling from the cord. "Woooooo," Brooks shouted, "Come on! The air is fine!" Derek and Alex were next. They screamed Mayday Parade rules. Once they were down with Alex and Brooks, they high fived. "Ok Bruno, you ready?" Jeremy asked. I nodded and we went over the railing. We took a deep breath and jumped.

The wind blew threw my hair and bashed into my face. Out of nowhere, me and Jeremy were jerked up and down. Then we were dangling in the air. We all hollered.

When we were down by the river, we took goofy pictures. When we were done and on the bridge again, we drove to a buffet.

I think I just died, and went to food heaven. This place has every food imaginable. "You guys are trying to kill me, aren't you?" I asked as we got to our table. "Yes," replied Jeremy. I squinted my eyes at him and they all laughed.

When the waiter was done taking our drink orders, we each took turns getting food. I went first 'cause I'm a boss. Me and Derek came back with a shit load of food. The rest of the guys eyes widened and they jumped up and ran for food. Me and Derek laughed and started to talk.

"So, how are Bailey and Grey?" I asked. Derek finished a bite of his Jerk Chicken and said, "They're doing good. I just miss them a bunch since touring has started." I could hear the longing in his voice. I then took a bite of my huge burger and asked, "Was it hard being a father? The first time, I mean." He looked up at the ceiling for a while. "Yeah. The baby would always cry in the middle of the night. Sometimes, Bailey would just stay up and not sleep. But you still gotta love 'em, right?" I nodded and he smiled.
