Mako's POV:
As me, Sia and Korra walked down the streets in the inner city, I couldn't help but notice their differences. Korra was walking with a sour look and crossed arms, while Sia was walking while bending around a string of water, a small smile on her face.
"Ugh, he's not here!" I groaned and rubbed my face with my hands.
"Well, where was he last?" Sia asked and put down her water.
"At the arena. He said he would try to make some money and then take a stroll in the park." I sighed at my stupid brother.
"Well I think he got kidnapped." Sia shrugged and I felt a rush of panic go through me.
I quickly jumped to her and placed my hands roughly on her shoulders.
"What?! What do you mean?!" I asked while shaking her. She just looked at me with an annoyed look.
"There's this new group in town, I don't remember what they're called, but I know they're non benders. It's like a cult." Sia explained, took my hands off her and straightened her clothes again.
"Well? Where are they?" Korra scoffed and looked at her with crossed arms.
"How would I know? I didn't take their flyer. But when I saw them they were at the park." Sia shrugged.
My eyes lit up with hope but I didn't show it. "Let's go then! Come on!"
We all hopped on naga, Korra was obviously in front and I was last, placing Sia between us.
"Can't this thing go any faster?" Sia groaned and rubbed her face with her hands.
"I have an idea, why don't we all hop on your back and then you can take us to the park!" Korra snapped and looked back the water bender with a glare.
"I'd love that, climb on everyone, Sia is ready for take off!" Sia said and pointed to her back with a teasing smirk.
I smiled, Bolin will love this girl, and Korra just rolled her eyes and looked forward again.
We arrived at the park and jumped down from Naga. Sia went to the fountain and filled up her small water tank that hung at her waist while me and Korra searched around the bushes.
"He was standing here last time I saw him." Sia said and walked to the center of the park. There was a small scene made out of wooden tree.
"Wait, I saw this guy when I first came to the city." Korra smiled in realisation.
I yawned. "We have been out searching all night. Let's just relax until morning comes, alright?"
Sia nodded and sat down against Naga, closing her eyes in relaxation. I sat down beside her and Korra sat beside me.
"So... why is Bolin even running around with the triple threats anyway?" Korra asked.
"Well we- we used to do some work for them back in the day." I said, kinda embarrassed. Scratch that, really embarrassed.
"What?! Well are you some kind of criminal?" Korra asked sternly. I looked at her with a small glare.
"No. You don't know what you're talking about! I just ran numbers for them and stuff. We were orphans out on the street, I did what I had to do to survive and protect my little brother." I snapped.
"I'm sorry. That must have been really hard... can I ask what happened to your parents..?" Korra said softly this time.
I sighed. "They were mugged, by a fire bender. He cut them down right in front of me. I was 8." I felt Sia scoot a little closer to me, not much. But enough to let me know she was listening too.
