Sia's POV:
We walked to the sketchy arena where the revelation would take place. We had gotten us some disguises. I was wearing some rusty ugly hat and a big coat like the other 2."Let's just get Bolin, and get out of here." I whispered and we walked in.
Korra grabbed makos arm and he looked at her confused.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"We'll attract less attention like this." Korra said. I just chuckled and mako shrugged.
We walked up to the big doorman and he glared at us and crossed his arms.
"This is a private event. No one gets in without an invitation." The fat guy said.
"Uuhh... invitation?" Korra looked at mako in desperation while the doorman raised his eyebrow at her. I rolled my eyes and stepped in front of them.
"You mean this one?" I took out the flyer from my pocket and showed it to the doorman while making and Korra let out a sigh of relief.
"The revelation is upon us, my brother and sisters." He said and let us in. I sent him a sweet smile and we walked in, Korra still clutching herself to Mako's arm.
It was some kind of rust old building.
"Man, these people are on a budget, huh?" I cringed as I ran a finger over the wall, dust collecting at my fingertips.
We walked into the main hall and stopped up.
"I knew a lot of people hated benders, but over never seen so many in one place." Mako sighed. "Keep your eyes out for Bolin."
We walked down to the other people and I noticed that I got lots of looks. I blushed in embarrassment and tried to cover my hair to not attract too much attention.
We blended into the crowd and I had finally gotten all my hair hidden up in my hat, making me look like a man. But whatever.
Lights turned on up at the scene and everyone went quiet.
"Please welcome, your hero! Your savior! AMON!" The speakers shouted. Everyone cheered and I clapped along slowly with an unimpressed expression on my face.
From under the scene, a man with a scary mask rose up, along with his workers behind him.
I noticed Korra looking at him with a look I couldn't figure.
Amon stepped up to the microphone and began his speech.
"My quest for equality began many years ago. When I was a boy, my family and I lived on a small farm. We weren't rich, and none of us were benders. This made us very easy targets for the fire bender who escorted my father. One day, my father confronted this man, but when he did... that fire bender took my family from me. Then, he took my face."
Everybody awed at him.
"I've been forced to hide behind a mask ever since."
Me, Korra and mako all shared a look.
"As you know, the avatar has recently arrived in republic city." Everyone started booing and I rolled my eyes as Korra hid behind her scarf.
"And if she was here, she would tell you that bending brings balance to the world, but she is wrong. The only thing bending has brought to the world, is suffering. It has been the cause of every war, in every era! But that is about to change. I know you have been wondering, 'what is the revelation?' You are about to get your answer!"
Me and Mako shared a look of fear.
"Since the beginning of time, the spirits have acted a guardians of our world, and they spoken to me. They say the avatar has failed humanity, that is why the spirits have chosen me, to utter in the new era of balance. They have granted me a power that will make equality. The power, to take a persons bending away, permanently!"
