The air was cool and Narinder was doing his daily duties.

He didn't remember much of the day; he had spaced out for most of it, went into autopilot. That's when he heard the familiar sound of the temple's bell; a sermon was taking place for the day.

As he walked inside the temple though, The Lamb caught his attention. They were wearing a suit?

Narinder raised an eyebrow as he watched The Lamb talk. Narinder completely blocked out the sermon; he never listened, he found them boring.

At the end of the sermon, The Lamb looked into their book and smiled, "My loyal followers! Today is a very special day! I have decided to get married!"

Narinder's eyes widened; he was surprised. Who could The Lamb be marrying? He didn't seem too interested in any of his followers; perhaps it was someone outside the cult that everyone would meet.

Narinder's mind raced with possibilities, his curiosity getting the best of him. But he was quickly snapped out of his thoughts when he heard something... unexpected.

"Narinder! Love, please step up!" The Lamb yelled as he held out his hand.

Narinder froze in place, his heart pounding in his chest. Did he hear correctly? Did his past vessel just call his name? Narinder looked around as the other members cleared the path for him. He stared at The Lamb, confusion in his eyes.

The Lamb walked down to him and took his hands, "Nari... I know this is sudden, but I can't wait any longer!"

Narinder wanted to say something, yell, retaliate, but all that came out was air.

And the next thing he knew, he was in the middle of a marriage ritual. Everything went fast, blurry, and soon he was being dragged out of the temple and to The Lamb's cabin.

He felt himself regain his senses, "What the hell!?" was the first thing he yelled.

The Lamb, taken aback by Narinder's outburst, stepped back slightly, "Nari, please, calm down," they said softly, reaching out a hand.

But Narinder's mind was racing too fast for him to process The Lamb's words, "You are my former vessel! I am the god of death, forced into a cult follower by you! And now I'm supposed to be your... your spouse?"

"Nari... keep calm..."

"Was this your plan all along!? Defeat me then marry me!? You sick damned Lamb!" Narinder yelled.

"Well... I must admit even when you were a god I did kinda like you... but this only really developed more... recently." The Lamb said.

Narinder is silent as he rubs his head, "Damned lamb..." he mumbled, "I don't have a choice in this marriage, do I?"

The Lamb looks down, "I mean..."

"I don't... just say it..." Narinder sighs, "Fine... just... no lovey-dovey shit. Ok?"

The Lamb nods, "Ok Nari... alright."
