(A/n)

This story starts like any other Harry Potter fanfic. Though, it's slightly different.
Instead of it being normal...Y/n has been teleported to a different universe!

Oops, my bad.

— (y/n) pov, just like the rest of the story, (y/n) is a normal kid, with a normal life. Until...—

Darkness. Was I asleep? I didn't know.

There was silence all around me. The kind of silence that deafened my ears, making me dizzy. Maybe if it wasn't so dark I'd know how dizzy I was. How did I know I was dizzy, anyway?

What was going on?

Suddenly I felt something. The hard fabric of a seat. My back sat against something.
I felt whatever I sat on, or in, moving softly, reminding me of sitting in a car, but without the weird smell cars always seem to have. My brain tried to make sense of it before I reminded me of my eyes.
Slowly I opened an eye, almost scared to see where I was, and then I blinked.
All uncomfortable feeling went away as I took in where I sat.
A train? How did I get on a bloody train?

Rubbing the tired from my eyes I dared to yawn and stretch before I looked around the compartment. It was empty of other people. The seats were covered in a green fabric, the stuff I had felt while waking up. The wood was a creamy brown one, reminding me of caramel candies.
Some noises came from the compartment next to me, but it was rather muffled. I knew it to be people, kids.
There was a large window looking out to the train corridor probably leading all through the train, and another window showed me the Scotland, or UK landscaping. I didn't recognise it as home... where was I?
I looked around lazily.

Then I wondered if I knew the landscape from something like a movie. Couldn't be, right?
I was on a train, there was a familiar scenery outside... couldn't be, right?
Leaning towards the window I pressed my nose against it to try and get a glimpse of Kings Cross station. Couldn't be... but I found it in the distance. I knew it to be kings cross, it had to be.
Though, it didn't prove my theory. Could I even call it that? It was more like a fantasy.

No. No, I couldn't be on the train to Hogwarts, right?

With a sigh I gave up and sat back before I sat up again. Maybe I should look around? It would be no use to sit around and to wait until I was in trouble. I looked inside my pockets, finding no ticket inside.
Right, I should get my troubles sorted out before a conductor found me.

With both my feet on the floor of the moving train I tried to steady. Surprise was in my eyes when I looked at my hands, my feet, then I touched my face.
"What in the world..." I didn't recognise these clothes, these hands. Who was I? Okay, this was getting weirder and weirder. What was going on?
I remember wearing pyjamas when I went to bed, I remembered being way taller... I had about the size of an eleven year old. Coincidence...

Then I decided to see where I actually was, because this was looking too... too fantastic. It was impossible to just wake up on the train to Hogwarts.
Maybe I would find a logic explanation and I'd get to laugh at the foolish ideas popping up around my head.
This wasn't the train off Hogwarts, if anything, it was a joke.

Opened the door to the hallway in the train, I glanced around.
My eyes widened and quickly I staggered back into the cabin, clasping a hand across my mouth in both horror and confusion. What had I just seen? Quickly I hid behind the small wooden wall, out of sight of anyone who could walk passed.

Was I...
Was I in the Hogwarts train? My eyes lit up.
Had I just seen Lily? The younger Lily? She was sitting down, urging a black haired kid to sit down as well.
Severus? Oh imma bully him for what he did— will do!
Oh my god, I realised, what if there weren't any phones to call home with— nevermind if this was real, electronic devices didn't work at Hogwarts because of the magical interference— and if it was real I wouldn't want to leave!
