Peter frowned as he followed us through the corridor.
"So er... what is it we're doing?"

I gave him a quick smile and slowed down to walk next to him.
"We're just gonna ask a Professor wether we can borrow a classroom for a while when Remus gets better."

Peter nodded, then he smiled, "I bet we can ask Professor Sprout—"

"No!" James said, "She'd never let us."

"Well then," I said, crossing my arms, "Who do you think will lend us a classroom?"

"I bet Slughorn wil, he knew my dad."

Sirius rolled his eyes at his friend. "Of course Slughorn wouldn't, but I bet Flitwick will."

"Er..." I squinted my eyes, not seeing the vision, "How about Professor McGonagall?"

We all stopped at one of the staircases and glanced at each other.
It was clear we weren't coming to an agreement.

"Let's try Flitwick first," I said, "He's closest by, I think."
We started out walking. As we found a conversation topic, suddenly we laughed at James as he was being silly.
It was all good until we found Professor Flitwick's office.

I knocked.

We found Professor Flitwick grading some papers. We all stop nervously before Peter spoke up.
"Professor, we wanted to ask wether you can borrow us a classroom later this week. Remus is sick, you see, and when he gets better we'll need to practice the spell."

The Professor thought it over, but then he shook his head. "I'm afraid I can't do that. My classrooms will be full until late, and I don't want to leave you unsupervised if you will be practicing any new spells."

We said our goodbye and quickly left, feeling a bit disappointed.

"But that was just one Professor," James said, "Lets try Slughorn next!"

Because James was so confident, this answer was only more disappointing.

Professor Slughorn's beetle eyes glanced around the room as though he was trying to escape the situation.
"I'm afraid I can't. I would if I could, but all my classrooms are dangerous. If you fall you could damage something, and you're just first years..."

A bit put out, we left.

"I bet Professor Sprout will help us," Peter said. James scuffed because he knew Professor Sprout as 'stern and mean'. Peter explained though,"Me and Alice talked to her before, and she was actually ready to show us more of her plants."

"We could try," I said, "But if not, we'll try Professor McGonagall."

"Why?" James said, "No way she's going to help us."

I raised an eyebrow. "We can still try."

Still James wouldn't have it, but we would try. I knew though, that Professor McGonagall might just surprise James.

In the greenhouses Professor Sprout shook her head, and we left again. Now the disappointment was left in an argument between me and James.

"I'm telling you," I rolled my eyes, "She's not a monster, but a Professor! It's her job to help us, why wouldn't she?"
Peter nodded at my argument, but shied away when James gave him a look.
I glared at James. "I'm right, you're wrong, if your brain can handle that better."

James gave me a glare back and we stood for a while until Peter pointed out that James had said we'd at least try.
I smiled.
"That's right Peter, now let's go."

James still follow us up. He said he wanted to see our faces when we were wrong.

I rolled my eyes and knocked on Professor McGonagall's office door.
Her office was small, it had a warm hearth, comfortable chairs and a desk. Books lay scattered around, but I found order in even that.
When we asked wether we could borrow a classroom, her eyebrows raised.
