Mornings weren't that bad.Given, of course, you had set up a prank just the night before.
We sat in the great hall and Lily send us yet another sharp glare.
I gave her a smile before I grabbed some tea, wondering wether ignoring my health for a cup of coffee was smart. I just missed coffee. The bitter taste... the boost in energy... I wanted it."There!" James suddenly hissed as he looked at the entrence to the great hall. I shocked up from my day dreaming.
We all turned to the Slytherin table, just in time."Ohmygod," Marlene said with a smile, "Their robes! They're pink!"
A screech went through the great hall and with a satisfied smile I watched Bellatrix tug her rainbow coloured hair. Next to her stood Narcisa, who looked at her red and gold hair with a blank face. Their robes matched their hair, earning a good lot of odd looks.
It wasn't see through, I wasn't that horrible. Though I had been very tempted to give them that embarrassmentSirius and Peter laughed wholeheartedly as James and me high-fived. Remus shook his head, though he couldn't surprise his smile.
It was a sad thing to exit the great hall that morning. We'd have loved to stick around and laugh at the Slytherin students.
"(Y/n)."
I glanced behind me.
"Oh dear," I said casually, not actually caring. Peter flinched and glanced at Sirius and James who looked just as panicked.Gideon and Fabian crossed their arms as they looked rather disappointed.
"You guys need a lot of help if you want to be Hogwarts' next pranksters.""Who said we wanted your help?" Remus suddenly said.
James was about to tell Remus the rules weren't that important, but instead Remus gave the twins a mischievous smile.
"Without your help the prank would have been boring."Fabian and Gideon glanced at each other. Clearly they were just as surprised as me at Remus's words.
Then they crossed their arms as they said, "Fine then, you don't need our help. Just don't complain when you get caught!" "Or when you miss out on the secret passages."When they left I looked at my watch.
"We're gonna be late for class," I smiled at them, "But we so won that argument."—
The very next morning the great hall was filled with excited chatter.
"Quidditch! Quidditch! Quidditch!" Sirius, me and James chanted as we ran towards the breakfast table. The rain outside didnt bother us, though Peter looked outside with slight distaste. Marlene joined in on the chanting and with the four of us we left to grab some good seats. The rain got heavier when the quidditch players got out on the field and, sadly, the rain covered most of the match. We sat dry thanks to us leaving so early.
"Great," James leaned back in his seat grumpily, "We missed most of the match because of the rain."
Looking up from his book, Remus looked out over the field thoughtfully. "I'm glad I brought my book."
"Such a shame," I agreed, "We should see if we can catch a friendly sometime."
Sirius nodded excitedly as he leaned over the wooden wall, separating them from a deep fall into the pitch. Rain fell over his hair and he quickly pulled away from it. I decided he needed a haircut, just for the split ends, though I noticed he was very protective of his hair.
"Guys," Peter said excitedly as he pointed into the air, "Look!"
The Gryffindor seeker sped up in the air, through the rain and wind. The Slytherin seeker tried to catch up, but before he could the snitch gave one last soft glint through the wind before it disappeared in the seekers hand.
