"How is he?" Taehyung ask while sitting on the bed, looking at Jin who is caressing the sleeping Jungkook's forehead.

"He's okay. As you can see, he's not pale anymore. And I already treat the wound on his lips. There were some marks around his neck, but that's all faded now".

"Did he wake up, hyung?"

Jin nod his head. "He did. But as soon as he wake up, he cried so much. After I comfort him, he suddenly back on sleeping. I guess he's just tired. But nothing to worries, Tae".

Taehyung just hummed.

"I shouldn't have hire her as our maid, right? I'm so sorry, Tae. I didn't know she would have a bad intentions towards our Kookie". Jin said with voice full of guilty.

"Jin hyung, don't say that. It's not your fault. It's totally her fault. I didn't blame any of you guys. Just... I can't imagine if something happen to Jungkook if I'm too late. If she's still alive, I won't even forgive her to what she ever done to Jungkook".

"You're so protective of Jungkook". Jin said, and receiving just a small smile from the younger.

"I'm going out, Tae. Checking on others. Inform me if he wakes up". Jin said while getting up and left the room after Taehyung make an 'ok' sign.

Taehyung climb the bed, resting his back against the head of the bed. He then gently pull Jungkook closer to his chest. Jungkook didn't even budge, meaning that he sleep very peacefully.

Taehyung make Jungkook's head laid against his broad chest. And then he just stare at the boy around his face. The wound on the corner of his lips is still visible, but the blood has gone after being treated by Jin. But that doesn't make Taehyung feel guilty. The incident in front of his eyes, seeing the bunny boy trembling with a knife on his face, make his hatred towards Soomin grow even bigger, even though the girl has meeting her death.

His heart ached seeing Jungkook in this condition. Jungkook is still traumatized after being shouted by Soomin, and now he has to deal with the same person, or even crazier, who had an intention to kill him. Even in the same house, Jungkook is still not safe. That makes Taehyung doubt if he's really protecting Jungkook.

Taehyung lead his thumb, slowly caressing Jungkook's lips but not touching the wound. He then close his eyes, leaning closer to the younger until their noses linked.

"I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry". Taehyung half whisper. That just make Jungkook start moving. Taehyung open his eyes and look at Jungkook who is already looking at him, looking pitiful as ever.

"Hyungie..." The one word that hardly can be getting out of the younger's mouth is enough to make Taehyung hug Jungkook even tighter.

"Bun, please. Don't say anything. I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Please forgive me baby". Taehyung said with shaky voice, as he can feel a tear rolling down to his cheeks, but he could care less about it.

Soon they pull away, Jungkook softly wipe Taehyung's cheek.

"Why is my hyungie crying? Who made him cry?" Jungkook said, feeling that he can cry any soon. It's his first time seeing Taehyung crying. His heart clenched looking at the tears from the older.

"That woman is crazy, bun. I know I should have protected you. I shouldn't leave you alone here with her. That's a very bad thing for me to do. I admit my mistake, bun. I was so careless. But please forgive me, I beg you".

Jungkook slowly cup Taehyung's face.

"Hyungie, how many times should I tell you that it's not your fault? I don't have any strong reason to be mad at you. Because you never hurt me. At the end, it was you who save me, right hyungie?"
