"So, I asked Nina out, and to my surprise, she said yes!" Shivansh's cheeks turned a rosy shade as he spoke. The floor underneath Maansi began to shatter as she heard those words from Shivansh.

She said nothing and went upstairs to the terrace, it was 11:30 pm at that time, tomorrow was Shivansh's birthday so Maansi had planned to surprise him at midnight, but now she felt betrayed by her childhood friend, Nina.

Shivansh followed her upstairs. "Hey, what's up? Did I do something wrong?" Shivansh asked. "No, it is nothing. I hope you'll be happy with her," said Maansi trying her best to hide her tears.

"Yeah, I hope the same, can you tell me more about her? please!" Shivansh said. "SHIVANSH!! STOP!!" Maansi yelled. Shivansh was shocked. Maansi continued " Can you stop talking about Nina all the time."

"I'm...sorry, I didn't know whom to talk to, wait...are you jealous?" Shivansh asked. " Ohh please, not that, I'd rather die than be jealous of her," Maansi said, even though she was very, very jealous.

"Ohhk I feel things are not good between you two," Shivansh said. Maansi looked at her phone, it was 12. "Happy Birthday Shivansh." Said Maansi. "Wait, ohh god you remember! Thank you so much." Shivansh replied. Maansi handed over a present to him. "You didn't have to," said Shivansh.

"Just keep it, It's not very expensive but I hope you like it," Maansi said. "Thanks again",he said with a smile.

Just as Shivansh was about to open the gift, he got a call from his mom, she was asking him to come down. So he left, waving goodbye to Maansi. Maansi stayed there for a while alone, thinking maybe he'd be better off with Nina, Nina is a nice girl after all. Maybe she'll let her BFF date him if she can't have him.

Maansi hadn't talked to Nina for a while, so she decided to go to her office the next day to talk to her.

*Next day at Nina's office*

Maansi was about to knock when she saw both Shivansh and Nina inside through the window. She silently watched them and then, they started to KISS! Maansi was fuming with jealousy and anger. I came here to solve things but look how much this bitch enjoys kissing him, she said to herself.

As Shivansh was leaving she hid away. As she was about to enter Nina's room she saw a call incoming on Nina's phone. She decided to hear conversation."Hey babe, actually I was a little busy with work...ya ya you know how easy it is to fool him! He's a puppet around my hands, ya ya soon we'll be the richest couple!" Nina said.

'What the heck! Nina is cheating on him, no she's been using him for money and she already has a boyfriend.' Maansi thought, she was beyond furious. Without wasting time she barged into the room. Nina panicked and hung up the phone.

"Ohh hey bestie, long time no see, how are you?" Nina said. "You started dating Shivansh right, even though I liked him," Maansi replied. "I'm so sorry, but you see he likes me, maybe you should move on. You deserve a better guy, and you surely will get, and I have liked Shivansh for a long time." Nina said.

"Drop this good friend act Nina! I was here to give you two my blessing to date, but you are a horrible person. You don't deserve Shivansh." Maansi said. Nina replied,"What? I promise I'll never hurt him bestie." Nina replied.

''I heard you conversation on call just now." Nina's face turned pale and her eyes widened as soon as she heard those words. Then her expressions changed, "So, what can you do about it? You think Shiv will believe you over me? Funny. He is head over heels for me." Nina said with a smirk on her face.

Maansi didn't say anything, Nina was right. She had no proof and it would look like jealousy if she told Shivansh this. She just ran away crying,' He doesn't deserve this bitch, if he had chosen me , I would have given him the world.' Maansi thought on her way back.
