Moon bow

A pillow hit his head and a minor pain came after
"Ow, what did you do that for" he pouted at the plumpy looking girl in front of him

"Why were you smiling weirdly" Raven sat criss cross on the bed with a bowl of chips in her hands

"Oh so now it's wrong to smile" he reached out to grab chips from the bowl

"Its wrong for you to smile" Raven made a look as she emphasize the word 'you'

Justin rolled his eyes " I made up a word last night, moon bow"

Raven paused midway in her chewing and gave him a strange look before chuckling "Dude, that's a real word"

"No it isn't"

"Yes it is" Her british accent thick

"Ok then what's a moon bow" Justin crossed him arms and gave a smirk

"According to the internet, a moon bow is a rainbow made by the moon light at night instead of the sun.It is caused by a refraction of tiny water droplets hanging in the atmosphere by the moon light" Raven spoke

The look on Justin's face must be priceless because Raven broke out in a laugh

"So you thought you are the only one who discovered it and cared enough to give it a name?"

Justin's only response was to get another chips from the bowl

"I thought like that when I first saw it some months ago but just to be sure, I researched it online" she crunched some more on her chips

"So are you going to the party that Nelson is holding at his place next week?" Raven turned her head

"No, I'm not going" replied the boy with a deep voice

"What, why not the party's for seniors only and not only are you a senior but you are also one of the famous basketball players in the school"

"I'm aware of that ,but I'm not going" he gave a pointed look

"Is it because Natasha will be there" she asked referring to his ex

Justin shot a glare and she gave a sorry look, he is very grateful for a friend like Raven,but sometimes she is nosy he must admit.

The reason why Justin wouldn't go to the party is because Nelson has insulted his friend Raven about her being fat as he specifically called her

That day Raven demeanor changed, she had insecurities of being called fat, once she didn't even eat saying she wants to cut down calories

Justin, even though he was mad, calmly explained to her that she is beautiful the way she is, he then described her a plumpy

He then adviced her that she could have a daily workout routine not because she wants others opinion or good comments about her, but because she wants to improve her health

"You haven't been listening Justin, what's the matter with you" her arms open wide in annoyance

"Sorry, been in my head"

"I can see that" she chided and Justin rolled his eyes

"Anyway, I was saying that my cousin's birthday is coming up and I really don't know what to get him, what do boys like as a gift anyway" she set the empty bowl on the bedside table

"You mean your cousin Randall" he questioned and Raven nodded in affirmative

"Get him what he likes then" Justin shrugged

"That's the thing you bozo, I don't know what he likes" She spat in annoyance
