Birthmark

I scrolled through the window on my Laptop and continued typing

The continuous striking of keys was the only sound that filled the small cozy apartment until the door bell rang

My head shot up and I look at the door immediately feeling the anxiety radiating off the person at the other side

A sigh escaped my lips as I remembered my pizza delivery for lunch

I set the laptop on the small coffee table and elevated off the couch

Getting even more close to the door, the anxiety I felt is way more intense

I opened the door to see a tall lanky boy in a blue shirt which has the name of the diner

After collecting the pizza box and giving him some cash I figured he probably was bullied or is deathly worried about something

"Thank you" he said with a weak attempt of a smile while my face was kept in its usual way, straight and stoic

Closing the door I muttered "Pixie dust" while rolling my eyes

I settled down on the sofa ready to munch on the pizza then I heard a ping sound from my phone

I grabbed my phone which was set near the laptop on the table and opened the message

I notification from Instagram came through. Some celebrity or so updated their profile picture

I wanted to exit the app but something on the picture caught my attention

A Sigma birthmark on her left cheek

Sigma are a race of people who has human features but possess elemental magic

They are easily identified by a Sigma birthmark. Some Sigmas are lucky that theirs can be hidden like mine which is on my stomach

Others have theirs full out on display like on the forehead, ear or cheek

The person in the picture looks familiar like I've seen her in my High school before

Focusing intensely on the picture, I makes out her blonde hair and blue eyes and went back

My eyes then blinked bringing me back to the present.

Briana Davis. Most popular kid in Thelma Academy. Rich and Smart. Really Friendly too

I'm surprised that she came over to Tir Na Nog which is the realm of humans also known as Earth

Her father was a governor of a realm in Mhidaga which is the world of magical beings but he died a terrible death two years before is tenure ended

Some suspected the elves who were servants in the government house.

Others said a pixie must have done it but that statement had a strong sense of ridiculousness,as a pixie's magic is never stronger than a Sigma

The whole school watched as Briana's lively spirit died down as he was her only close family except for a few of her second cousins

I watched some posted videos on her profile and found out that Briana Davis is a popular model

An urge to associate with her filled me but I am shocked because I consider myself as antisocial

I work as a computer graphics designer but I do sometimes meet with my clients

Back in Thelma Academy in Mhidaga,I've always wanted to at least say hi to her probably because of my loneliness then

After studying her for a bit, I noticed that she is a good listener and I felt like going over to her to pour out all my troubles

I wonder why this came up after seeing her picture

Its probably a magic thing I've never heard of

My magic is Mind

But I don't possess all the ability of a Mind Sigma only a few which include Empathy the ability to feel peoples emotions

I also have the ability to transport my mind back in time based on a particular picture, place, date, name etc

Telekinesis too, but I don't use it often

Thinking about this reminds me of comic books I've read online by Tir Na Nog residents

They talk of superpower and superheroes like Wonder Woman, Superman

Not that I'm a fan of it but I was curious

I went back in time again to when Briana started as a fashion model

Another pinge from my phone brought me back to the present

I've realized that there is so much opposite between me and Briana

Like how she is outgoing and lively and while I'm a loner

In her videos she makes with some of her friends, she sometimes use her light magic but none of them notice it

I looked at my phone and what I saw shocks me
