Isaiah 43:2

A sigh escaped his lips once he heard the door slammed shut
He tried explaining to Sydney once again that there are consequences for her action but all he got was a string of vulgar language and a long bang from her room door

"Lord, please help me" he whispered as his thumb and index finger pinch the bridge of his nose

𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑟𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑓𝑢𝑟𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝑤𝑜𝑜𝑑𝑠,ℎ𝑒 ℎ𝑎𝑑'𝑛𝑡 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑜𝑙𝑙 𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑓𝑎𝑟.

𝐴𝑛𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑤 𝑡𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑖𝑛 𝑎 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑝 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑠 ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑚𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑟𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑚 :𝑆𝑦𝑑𝑛𝑒𝑦

A small knock sounded on the door, and Andrew looked up from the Bible which he was studying

"Good Morning" her voice soft and unsure

"Good Morning to you too, have you eaten breakfast" He questioned with a smile

"Yes, I was hoping to talk with you" Her fingers dwindled against each other

Andrew's forehead creased. He tried thinking of a time when he had a decent coversation with Sydney and his brain found none

"Sure" he closed his Bible and Journal and prayed silently to God for His word for the day

He then patted softly on the space on the couch, to which she sat down

"I'm sorry for everything, all of it" she started with a remorseful look

"It's okay I - " he was cut off

"No its not, you've given me home and tender loving care but all I've done to repay you is to cause damage, I really am sorry
Everytime I see your care and compassion towards me it just reminds me a lot about my parents, now they made a monster in me, and I just can't fight it and it makes me so angry that I just take it out on you" her frame racked slowly

"I feel like there is no hope for a person like me, I have nothing, nada. I feel like a freak accident of nature" she concluded with hot streams of tears rolling down her cheek

"No don't say that, the Lord has said a lot of things about you and being a freak or a monster isn't one of them. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people First Peter 2:9.
Jeremiah 31: 17 says that 'There is hope for your future, says the Lord'

"He said that" her down cast eyes lifted up to look at him, uncertainty written all over her features for she doubted the creator of the Universe would say something like that about her

"Yes He did, God also said that nothing could ever separate you and I from his unending love 'For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things to come, nor things present, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord' Romans 8:38"

"Now I know nothing about how your past is like but no matter how ugly dirty or disgusting you think you are, just know that God's unconditional love is able to heal you, just allow God into your heart and he will do it.

The Lord says 'Fear not, for I am have redeemed you, I have called you by name, you are mine' Isaiah 43:2"

Sydney took in all his words into consideration, the words of God himself.

She had always posed as a rebel, a bully and she called herself a monster. She cut herself and even tried to kill herself by standing right in the middle of traffic

Now she learnt something, putting a label on herself because of what she sees is not the way to go, allowing others to label her is also not right, the word of God concerning her is very important and she had learnt from Andrew that God said that She is worth more than rubies and that there is hope for her future
