I fell from a great height of darkness,
upon the sphere that swishs and moves,
a fluffy mass pregnant with doom,
in a singular form, I ride and ride.A blinding light tore the sky,
I went to places and travelled round,
blissful wonder filled my being,
with the current, I'm on the go.A sleek surface shiny I slid,
protecting a place of dried sand,
grey sand looking white,
sometimes yelow like the sun.The drift came through and up I went,
wondering about on the glooby circle,
What is this thing on which cotton lay?,
well that's the horizontal next I stayed on.A huge item came to life,
Its size a boulder with a shiny place,
a part of the sun lay on it,
like the grey sand that stood aright.A boom came and a crash followed,
the fallen tree, a green I lay,
the faster it blew, the brown came up,
gaze upon the abstract motion. With the gathering gloom,
my likeness now much,
singular I was,
plural I become.©Favour Chidinma Ezekwe

As the undercover literature student that I am, I made use of Figures of Speech. You are a good detective if you can stop them out😊
This poem is about the journey of a single rain drop personified. It may be confusing for some people so I have a very simple analysis for this poem;
Stanza 1 and 2 is basically an introduction of our the drop came from a huge dark rain cloud and the wind carried it around.
Stanza 3 is a roof of a building which the drop found itself on. The building is a "dry sand" which is the cement blocks and it is a "grey sand" because of the cement is grey.
Stanza 4 talks of a clothe line which is horizontal that the drop was then on
Stanza 5 is window of a "huge boulder"- a car - that "a part of the sun lay on it" - colour.
Stanza 6 is the action of a fallen tree that the drop was on its leaves and sighting the fast blowing wind that brings dust.
Stanza 7 is the plurality of the drop known as rain
