My ears perked up and I jerked into reality

Wait, I and Isabella are in the same group?

Oh man, I'm gonna be in a blushing mess. I just can't handle myself when around her

"Yo Joshua, you coming?" Dorien spoken and my face morphed in confusion

"We're heading to the cafeteria with Isabella to plan our project" He clarified and my cheeks went hot at Isabella's name

"O-ok" I mumbled out, grabbing my books and pens

We got to the cafeteria and started discussing about our Biology project while I continually gawked at Isabella

Black beauty. The thought of her becoming my wife...

"Oh Jesus forgive me" I mumbled while shaking my head

"What did you say" the soft voice belonging to Isabella said

"Um, nothing" I quickly said with my eyes dutifully trained on hers

"I noticed you hadn't made any contribution, you've been awfully quiet" concern filled her beautiful doe eye

"Oh, its just a headache, nothing much" I answered nonchalantly

"Well, I pray that you are healed in Jesus' name" she prayed and Dorian and I answered "Amen"

One thing I love about Isabella is that she a lovely christian

I've overheard her multiple times sharing Jesus with some unbelievers in our school

She is truly amazing

She wears her black skin with so much confidence that some people even wish to be born black but then they remember that blacks were slaves

Racism is still evident in my school
I mean black,white, red, ginger,albino, we're still humans with feelings, strengths and weaknesses

Its like getting four dogs of the same breed and rejecting one because he is black or has black spots

God help them

The shrill of the bell rang through the whole cafeteria and students began flooding the school hallways

"K then, we'll meet up some other time"Isabella stood

"Yeah, the project is due in the next two weeks"Dorian said also standing

We all then enter the school hallways

I then proceeded towards my locker

If I'm a christian and Isabella's a christian too, does this mean that I can profess my love towards her and if possible date her?

I paused midway getting to my locker when I heard the words in my spirit

The revelation then came to me that the daughters of Jerusalem are the believers, the Children of God and they should not pursue love at an early stage or seek for a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship

For God only ordain marriage and that is what will stand

But I can reveal my feelings to her to relieve myself. Its better that way.
