You giggled, your phone against your ear. "Tobio did what?"
"I'm telling you! He looked like he was gonna explode when Tsukishima kept calling him king!"
You burst out laughing. "Shoyo, please get a video of that shit! I need to see Tobio losing his shit!"
Shoyo laughed on the other line. "Yeah! oh, Sugawara-senpai needs me. I gotta go, Y/n. Let's talk later, ok?"
"Of course! Call me when you're on your way home from practice. Oh, and tell Sugawara I said hi!"
"Ok. Bye!"
"Bye bye!"
He hung up. You sighed, still smiling.
"What's got you in a good mood?" Iwaizumi and the other boys from the team sat down by you.
Oikawa smirked. "Glad I've finally arrived, princess?"
"I was on the phone with Shoyo." You didn't look at him.
Oikawa frowned. "That shirt boy from Karasuno?"
"Mhm."
"Why are you even talking to him?"
You finally turned to look at the brunette. "He's really nice, and he tells me about everything that goes on at Karasuno."
Oikawa huffed, crossing his arms. "Who cares?"
"I do." You frowned, slightly glaring. "Shoyo's my friend, and he's pretty cool. We're tryna make plans to hangout this weekend."
Before Oikawa could speak, Iwaizumi moved closer to you. "It's good that you're making other friends."
You smiled at him, nodding slightly. "Yeah. Tobio said that if I ever have free time, I should go check out their practice and hang with the team."
Oikawa's frown deepened. "Why would you go hangout with them when we are always available?"
You furrowed your brows at the boy. "Maybe I wanna hangout with someone that isn't you. What's the fucking problem with that?"
Oikawa moved even closer, leaving little to no space in between you two. "You're our manager, you go to our school. Why the fuck don't you hangout with us? What's so good about those Karasuno guys anyways? They're just a bunch of assholes or nobodies."
You stood up, moving away from him. "They're better than you, Oikawa. Don't talk shit about people I'm friends with. The fuck's your problem?"
He stood up, getting in your face again. "My problem is that you don't spend time with me!" He started raising his voice.
"Have you ever though that I don't wanna be around you?!" You rose your voice to match him. "I'm being forced to spend time with you! I've made it very clear that I hate you! You have no right trying to tell me what I can and can't do!"
"Yes, I do! I've done nothing but make up for my mistakes since we met again! What happened to 'I'll try to forgive you'?! You're not putting any effort into actually forgiving me! Stop pushing me away!"
"Oh, really?! I'm your fucking manager because you forced me into this position! I'm getting along well with the rest of the team! Why are you acting like this?"
"I love you and you refuse to even try to care!"
You scoffed. "Fuck off, Oikawa. I'm allowed to live my life the way I want! Stop trying to control the life of someone who's life you ruined!"
He crossed his arms, glaring. "Oh, I ruined your life just because the guy you used to like never fucking loved you?! Wake the fuck up! Get over that shit! It happened three years ago! No one cares!"
"I care!" Tears built in your eyes, your voice breaking. "What's wrong with you?!"
Iwaizumi stood up, getting in between you two. He and the others looked concerned. "Calm down. You both need to stop."
You grabbed your things. "Don't worry, Iwa. I'm leaving. I'm not going to practice." You walked away, the tears threatening to fall. You went to your classroom and grabbed your things, leaving school for the day.
'I fucking hate Oikawa! Why does he have to keep ruining my life?!'
Oikawa knew he fucked up. He had gotten so jealous of you being around other guys that he lashed out at you. He sighed, collapsing onto the ground, his face in his hands.
"Iwa-chan, do you think she'll forgive me?"
"Not a chance, Shittykawa." The ace deadpanned.
Matsukawa chuckled. "Why do you keep messing up?"
Hanamaki snickered. "Dude, you know what pisses her off. How do you keep making these stupid mistakes?"
Oikawa groaned. "Cuz I'm an idiot. I love her, and can't deal with her having a life away from me."
Iwaizumi sighed. "At least you're aware of it. You two aren't even dating, so stop getting jealous and acting as if she belongs to you."
"Girls hate that, especially Y/n." Kunimi chimed in.
Oikawa looked at his team. "Tell me something I haven't learned from Y/n-chan."
Yahaba sighed, looking disappointed. "I already talked to her, too. Geez, I thought she'd at least try to continue getting along with Oikawa."
The captain looked at him, confused. "What do you mean, Yahaba-chan?"
Yahaba rested his head on the palm of his hand. "At the practice match with Karasuno, when you and I got swapped, I sat next to her and we talked... well, I talked to her. I was telling her how you two were actually getting along, even though she still tries to act cold and distant with you. She didn't seem to really listen, or want to listen, to a few comments I had made about the dynamic between the two of you."
Kunimi nodded. "She's started talking to that one Karasuno guy a lot. She's calling or texted him whenever she's not in class."
Kindaichi hesitantly joined the conversation. "She's Kageyama's cousin, so she's already gonna have more access to the Karasuno team. It would make sense if she started liking and dating someone from that team."
"Kageyama would probably prefer one of his current teammates to marry his cousin, rather than a former teammate or middle school senpai, Iwaizumi-san probably being the only exception to that." Kunimi added.
Oikawa groaned louder. "He fucking hates me!"
"You did nearly hit Kageyama back in middle school." Iwaizumi reminded him of that incident.
"I know! But why would Y/n-chan care what Tobio-chan thinks?!"
Kunimi sighed. "Well, for starters, they're family. They also live together, which is a good reason. Oh, and let's not forget that they grew close in a short amount of time, mainly as a result of neither of them being fond of Oikawa whatsoever. That ginger from Karasuno is probably the closest thing Kageyama has to a friend at the moment. Even if he claims to dislike the guy, Kageyama can't hate him completely considering he's the only person that could actually hit and score with that king's impossible sets."
Kindaichi agreed. "Even if Kageyama seemed against it originally, he might grow to accept it. Since he and Y/n are pretty close, he might just allow it since Y/n's growing closer to his teammates."
"That is assuming that Kageyama threatens those guys to promise to never hurt Y/n in any way, and to keep her as happy as she can get." Kunimi explained further.
Oikawa felt like he had no chance.
The brunette sighed, feeling defeated. "I feel like it's just a matter of time before she decides to transfer to Karasuno, and leave me forever."
