'He kissed me?!'

You pushed him away from you. "Don't you have a girlfriend?! Isn't kissing me cheating? Please don't use me to cheat on your girlfriend. I can't have anyone around me cheat."

He smiled. "I dumped her."

You stared at him with wide eyes. "What?"

Oikawa leaned in closer, planting a gentle kiss on your forehead. "I love you, no one else. It's you, it's always been you. You're the only one for me, Y/n-chan, so I dumped Miyamura."

You wrapped your arms around him, and put your face in his chest. "I don't deserve you."

"You do. You deserve everything. Y/n-chan. Except for Miyamura being a bitch to you, but we'll fix that soon enough."

You giggled softly. "I'm guessing that they told you why I got so upset?"

He hummed. "You finally love me, don't you, Y/n-chan?"

You nodded, not moving your face away from his chest. "I do. It took me three years to love you, but I really do finally love you, Oikawa."

He gave you a slight squeeze. "Yay! Also, do you mind if I ask you a question?"

You looked at him. "What is it?" You wondered if he was going to ask you to be his girlfriend.

"This grave, is it you mom's?" He was hesitant to ask.

You nodded. "She hung herself about 10 years ago." Your grip on him tightened.

"I - I'm so sorry to hear. That's why it was a sensitive topic. I'm sorry."

"It's fine. You didn't know." You mumbled, pressing your face against his chest.

He rubbed circles onto your back. "I still feel bad. I've been so insensitive all this time. I'm the one that doesn't deserve you, princess."

You lifted your head from his chest, nuzzling it into the crook of his neck. "It doesn't matter now. You've really worked hard to make up for what you did. I love you now, it just took me a while to realize it."

Oikawa let out a soft chuckle. "Yeah. I was wondering if you'd ever love me. I'm so happy that you finally do." He rubbed his head against yours.

"So, what now?"

He moved to be able to look you in the eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

You smiled at him. "I was worried you'd never ask. Of course, I'll be your girlfriend, Toru."

He smiled. "Say my name again."

"Toru." You repeated.

The brunette chuckled, peppering kisses all over your face. "Again."

"Can we at least leave the cemetery first?!" You pushed him away from you, looking into his eyes.

The setter paused, remembering where you two were. "Oh, right."

You both stood up, and you grabbed his hand. "Let's go to my house."

"Sure, just one moment." He didn't move from his spot.

You looked at him, confused. "What? Why?"

Oikawa bowed to your mother's grave. "Ma'am, I'm Oikawa Toru, and I'm in love with your daughter. I promise to take good care of her for as long as we both live.

You blushed at his words. "Toru, you don't have to."

He smiled at you. "I want to. Even if I'll never get the chance to actually physically meet her, I still want to introduce myself and have her approve of me for you. I'm working hard to become someone worthy of your love, princess."

"You are worthy. Now, let's go. The cemetery isn't the best place for couples to spend romantic time together."

He chuckled, lightly squeezing your hand before leading you out of the cemetery. "I suppose you're right. A cafe would be a much better place for a date. Wouldn't you agree?"

Your eyes widened. "D-date?!"

***

After your lovely little date, you brought Oikawa back to your house where you two just cuddled in your bed. You guys just watched a variety of movies. You even let him put on some volleyball match recordings. The way his eyes lit up when he watched was just too adorable that you had to let him watch whatever he wanted.

"Y/n?" He spoke out of nowhere.

You turn to look at him. "Yeah, Toru?"

"I want the world to know."

"That you love volleyball? I'm pretty sure the entire world already knows, love."

Oikawa put his head on your chest, fake whining. "That's not what I meant!"

You giggled. "I know. Should we tell people about us? I mean, you just got out of a relationship with Miyamura."

"It's fine. The whole world needs to know that I'm yours, and that you're mine."

His phone went off. He put the call on speaker.

Iwaizumi's voice blasted through the speaker. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, SHITTYKAWA?! FIRST, YOU RUN OUT OF THE SCHOOL WITHOUT A WORD, AND THEN YOU DUMO MIYAMURA BY TEXT?!"

"You dumped her by text? I thought you broke up with her properly." You raise a brow at your new boyfriend."

Oikawa chuckled nervously. "Uh, oops?"

Iwaizumi spoke again. "Wait, was that Y/n?"

You greeted the ace. "Hey, Iwa-senpai!"

"Hey. What's going on? Why are you with Shittykawa?"

Oikawa smiled, pulling you closer to his chest. "I found the love of my life, and decided I want her."

You rolled your eyes. "He found me while I was moping outside, and now we're kinda together. He told me he broke up with Bitchymura, but never said how."

"Dumbass. The whole school is talking about it."

"I'll explain tomorrow, then." Oikawa nuzzled up against you. "Right now, I just want to cuddle with my princess." He hung up before Iwaizumi could get another word in.

"He's gonna kick your ass tomorrow."

"Not if you protect me." The brunette grinned.

You giggled. "You're hopeless."

"Only without you, princess." He kissed you.

This was heaven, and no one could convince you otherwise.

It may have all started with hatred, but now you and Oikawa Toru are in a happy, loving relationship. Who could've ever guessed?
