I closed the door of my dorm room and drank a bit of water while glancing at my phone screen.

Nanon's name card was flashing on screen in a message sent by Jay. Nanonism

I chuckled, finding it oddly appealing.

I hesitated a bit while hovering my finger over it.

But then I clicked it and opened the chat screen.

OBiome: 'Hi'

From my ID, my name might not be clear.

OBiome: 'Ohm, this side. From Thonglor.'

He must be asleep. I pressed my lips, disappointed, and kept the bottle aside. I lied in bed and was about to close the lamp when my phone vibrated.

Nanonism: 'Hi'

I grinned, looking at my screen. Right now, my stomach is feeling weird.

OBiome: 'Did I disturb you?'

Nanonism: 'I don't sleep so soon. What about you?'

OBiome: 'Me too. Especially when the next day is a holiday.'

Nanonism: 'I see.'

I pressed my lips and thought for a while before my eyes landed on the thumb drive on my table.

OBiome: 'Do you like watching movies?'

Nanonism: 'Like in a movie theatre?'

I sat up in my bed. I clenched my fist once to calm the excited shaking. I thought of chatting about random topics like movies and actors. But now that it is like this...

OBiome: 'I haven't watched Avatar: The Way of Water yet. And I happen to have a discount coupon for this weekend.'

I waited for a response for a while before losing my patience and bluffing some more.

OBiome: 'Jay and Jean have watched it already.'

Still no response.

OBiome: 'Would you like to watch it with me tomorrow?'

Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-Tock.

As the time ticked, my heart kept feeling heavier with each second until the light flashed on the screen.

Nanonism: 'Sure. Tell me the time and place.'

Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum.

I gaped at the screen for a moment before grinning like a fool.
