Nanon @ 8:00 PM
We walked out of the station hand in hand, still a little dazed from everything that had happened. Ohm led me to a small park nearby, where we found a quiet bench to sit and talk.
"Ohm, I still can't believe you did that," I said, my cheeks hurting from smiling so much.
He laughed, a sound that warmed my heart. "I had to. You were not listening to me and I couldn't wait any longer."
We sat down, and he turned to face me, his expression turning serious. "Nanon, I want you to know everything about me. The good and the bad. And what I have been meaning to share with you for a long time."
I nodded, my heart swelling with affection. "I'm all ears."
He took a deep breath and started talking, telling me about his father, the pain of discovering the truth about his parentage, and the loneliness he felt. I listened quietly, holding his hand, offering silent support.
"And then, I met you," he said, his eyes shining. "You made everything... better. You brought light back into my life."
Tick-tock. Ba-dum. Tick-tock. Ba-dum.
I squeezed his hand, feeling tears prickling at the corners of my eyes. "I'm so glad I met you. You've made my life better too."
We talked for hours, sharing stories and dreams, getting to know each other even more deeply. It felt like we were the only two people in the world.
As the night grew darker, Ohm looked at his watch and smiled. "It's late. I should probably get you home."
I nodded, not wanting the night to end but knowing we had all the time in the world now. "Okay. But promise me something?"
"Anything," he said.
"Promise me we'll always be honest with each other. No more hiding our feelings."
He smiled, leaning in to kiss my forehead. "I promise."
