10th February, 2023: Friday

Ohm @ 6:30 PM

The weekend was approaching, and I was both excited and nervous about introducing Nanon to my Grandma. I wanted everything to be perfect, and I spent the day preparing.

After practice, I texted Nanon to confirm our plans.

OBiome: 'Hey. You are coming to my place tomorrow, right?'

Nanonism: 'Yes, absolutely. What time should I come over?'

OBiome: 'How about 10 AM? We can have lunch together.'

Nanonism: 'Sounds perfect. See you then. 😊'

I smiled at his reply, feeling a sense of calm wash over me. This was a big step, but I knew it was the right one.

That evening, I sat down with my Grandma to talk. She had noticed the change in me and was curious. I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment.

"Grandma, there's someone I want you to meet," I said, trying to keep my voice steady.

She looked at me with a knowing smile. "Is it someone you bring home to?"

I nodded, feeling a bit shy and nervous. "Yes. They are... They are very important to me."

I hesitated, the words catching in my throat. "There's something else. They are... I mean... he's a... guy. His name is Nanon. And I... I'm... I'm gay."

My Grandma's smile softened, and she reached over to pat my hand. "Ohm, I've known for a while. A mother can always tell. I'm just so glad you felt comfortable enough to tell me."

Tears prickled at the corners of my eyes. "You're not... disappointed?"

She shook her head, her eyes filled with warmth and love. "Never. All I want is for you to be happy and loved. If Nanon makes you happy, then that's all that matters to me."

Her support meant the world to me, and I felt a surge of gratitude and relief. "Thank you, Grandma. It means so much to hear you say that."

We spent the rest of the evening talking about Nanon, and I shared stories of our time together. The more I talked, the more I realized how deeply I cared for him.

As I went to bed that night, I felt a sense of anticipation. Tomorrow was going to be a big day, and I couldn't wait to see how it would unfold.
