Nanon @ 10:00 AM
I stood outside Ohm's house, my heart pounding with nerves. This was a big step, meeting his Grandma, and I wanted to make a good impression. I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.
Ohm answered the door almost immediately, his face lighting up when he saw me. "Hey. Come in."
I smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Hi."
He led me inside, and I took in the cozy atmosphere of his home. It felt warm and welcoming, just like Ohm.
"Ohm, has he arrived?" A gentle voice called from the kitchen.
"Yes, Grandma. We're coming in," Ohm replied, guiding me towards the kitchen.
As we entered, I saw a wrinkled-skinned woman with bright, twinkling eyes, a warm smile, and silver-grey curled hair. She wiped her hands on a towel and stepped forward. "You must be Nanon. It's so nice to finally meet you."
I smiled and extended my hand. "Nice to meet you too, Ma'am."
She shook my hand warmly. "Please, call me Grandma. Ohm talks about you all the time."
I blushed slightly, glancing at Ohm, who was grinning. "I hope it's all good things."
Grandma laughed. "Of course. Now, come, sit. I've prepared lunch for us."
We sat down at the table, and the meal was filled with delicious food and lively conversation. Grandma was easy to talk to, and she made me feel comfortable right away. It was clear how much she cared for Ohm, and seeing their bond made me feel even closer to him.
As lunch came to an end, Grandma looked at us with a smile. "I'm so glad you two found each other. You make a wonderful pair."
Ohm reached over and took my hand, squeezing it gently. "Thank you, Grandma. This means a lot to me."
I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me. This was a family I wanted to be a part of.
