Ohm and I strolled through the busy streets, walking close together. As we talked, I felt his hand brush against mine, sending a thrill through me. Slowly, Ohm intertwined his fingers with mine, holding my hand for the first time. The sensation was breathtaking, making my heart race. The city felt different today—brighter, more alive. We laughed and talked about everything and nothing, simply enjoying being together. Each glance, each touch, was filled with a new, exciting electricity.
"Let's get some ice cream," I suggested, pointing to a small shop with colorful decorations.
"Sure," he said, grinning. "My treat."
We picked out our favorites and sat down on a bench outside the shop, savoring the sweet, cold treats. It was such a simple thing, but it felt perfect.
As we ate, Ohm glanced at me, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Do you remember the first time we met?"
I laughed, nodding. "How could I forget? You were so grumpy that day."
He chuckled, shaking his head. "I was having a rough time, but you... you made it better. Right from the start."
Tick-tock. Ba-dum. Tick-tock. Ba-dum.
I felt a warm blush spread across my cheeks. "You sure speak your mind out loud."
We continued reminiscing, each memory bringing us closer. It was like we were pieces of a puzzle, finally fitting together.
"Hey," Ohm said suddenly, his tone more serious. "I want to introduce you to my Grandma."
I blinked in surprise, my heart skipping a beat. "Really?"
He nodded, his expression earnest. "Yes. I want her to meet the person who's made me so happy."
I smiled, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. "I'd love to meet her."
He reached over and squeezed my hand. "Great. We can go this weekend. I know she'll love you."
The thought of meeting his Grandma was daunting, but I knew it was an important step. Our relationship was growing stronger, and I was ready for whatever came next.
