I gulped when he remained silent and kept gaping at the screen. I took a breath and pressed my lips before nervously smiling. "It is the case for me anyway."
His expression finally flickered. [Uhh... Ummm...]
Fuck it! My heart!
I closed my eyes for a second before containing myself. And then I met with him over the phone.
"Nanon," I said, pressing my lips once. "You know when my day is the brightest?"
He kept looking at me. His expressions made me feel like I wanted to shake him and make him speak. But I have only gathered this courage. So, I need to be bold today.
When he did not say anything, with a shaky breath, I smiled nervously. "Everyday, at 7:25 PM, is when, even after the sunset and even before the moon rises, my day is the brightest."
Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock.
Ba-dum. Ba-dum. Ba-dum.
Nanon and I kept looking at each other for a good ten seconds without blinking.
"Poor signal." I said, as my heart couldn't take it anymore.
I disconnected the call immediately.
I then slumped on my bed, as my legs were shaking. Right now, my heart is aching.
What was he thinking? What will I say to him the next time I talk to him?
Was it too soon to say something like that?
This is killing me.
