Chapter 16: A Friendly Interaction
After the duel, Hoppy sat on a bench next to PickyPiggy and sighed.
“Sore loser?” PickyPiggy asked,
“No! I'm not a sore loser!” Hoppy replied, “This deck of mine just decided to brick me!”
“Did you at least draw the out?”
“What does that even mean?”
“I don't know either.”
Bobby walked to Hoppy and PickyPiggy.
“Well, you beat me fair and square, so I ain't gonna argue with you, Bobby.” Hoppy said,
“That's good to hear.” Bobby said,
“But still, where did you get those new cards from?”
“Well…”
“Hey!” A voice hollered,
Everyone turned to DogDay and CatNap.
“Oh, look at what the cat dragged in again…” Hoppy said,
“Come on, be nice.” PickyPiggy said,
“Whatever you say.”
CatNap and DogDay approach the girls.
“Hey, didn't know you three were hiking together too!” DogDay happily said,
“Well, it's their idea.” Hoppy said, “Not mine.”
“Actually, it's my idea.” PickyPiggy said as she chuckled a bit, “So, what brings you two here?”
“Hiking as well.” DogDay said, “...My idea.”
“Cool. Hey, CatNap, I'm bored.”
“Ok, what do you want me to do?” CatNap wondered, “Duel you?”
“...Read my mind.”
“Actually, I have an idea, now that we're bringing this stuff up.” Hoppy said, “Whoever wins this duel, gets to duel Bobby.”
Bobby was surprised.
“Uhhh, ok.” She said, “I guess I can go along with it.”
CatNap sighed.
“Alright, PickyPiggy, let's get this over with.” He said, “I have my duel disk since DogDay didn't bring his.”
“Alright, let's get this started!” PickyPiggy said as she got up,
DogDay chuckled.
“Well, this is better than I thought.” He said as he looked at Hoppy, “Hey, do you have anything to say about what happened last night?”
“No, take a hike.” Hoppy said,
“We just did!”
Everyone except Hoppy shared a laugh.
“Ok, that's funny.” CatNap said,
Hoppy sighed.
“Assholes…” She said to herself,
