Chapter 34

Chapter 34: Letting It Out

Hoppy was in her locker room, frustrated. She was kicking locker doors and pulling her long rabbit ears out of frustration.

“God damn it!” She shouted as she continued to kick more locker doors out of frustration, “Damn it all! Why the hell did he defeat me so easily?! It was only Turn 2! How the fuck did he get so unbelievably lucky?! And now here I am, out of a toxic relationship with that asshat!”

CatNap and Bubba then came inside to check on Hoppy.

“Hoppy, are you ok?” Bubba asked her,

“No, I am NOT!” Hoppy replied, “I had to break up with KickinChicken over a duel that caused him to change! Why else would I be ok?!”

“Ok, calm down! It's gonna be ok…”

Hoppy sighed as she sat on a bench.

“I'm sorry…” She said, “...that I had to drag you all into this mess.”

“It's ok.” Bubba said, “We're your friends now.”

“Yeah, I guess so… Even when I treated you all like shit after CraftyCorn's sacrifice…”

“Don't worry… Kickin was using your mind.”

“He manipulated me… Emotionally and mentally, without me even realizing it… It was almost like… I enjoyed it.”

“But now you regret it.” CatNap said,

“Damn right I regretted it.”

Hoppy then got up and took a deep breath.

“I want him to change back to his old self.” She said, “Before any of this shit happened.”

“Me too…” Bubba said, “But it probably won't happen right now, because CatNap is gonna have to face him in the Finals later.”

“I'll teach him a lesson.” CatNap said, “...without using any form of physical violence like last time.”

“Last time?” Hoppy wondered,

“Oh, it's a long story, don't worry about it.”

“Ok…”

DogDay meanwhile was in his locker room, getting ready.

“Looks like CatNap will be facing Kickin in the Finals…” He said, “It's just like when they dueled each other for the first time in a year… CatNap didn't take a single point of damage from that duel… But after that duel between Hoppy and Kickin… I don't know if it's gonna be like that again…”

DogDay then heard a knock on the door to his locker room.

“Coming!” He said as he opened it to reveal KickinChicken coming in with a punch to DogDay's face, knocking him down to the ground, “OWW!”

DogDay then looks up to see Kickin.

“Kickin?! What the hell was that for?!” He shouted at him,

Kickin then got him up and grabs him by the shirt.

“Hey! What are you–” DogDay shouted before Kickin then tossed him onto a table, hard, “GAHH!”

Kickin was breathing heavily.

“I don't give a damn about you…” He said, “I don't give a damn about ANY OF YOU!”

DogDay tried to get up, but Kickin grabbed him again and pushed him to a wall.

“WHAT DID I EVEN DO TO YOU?!” He shouted at Kickin, “YOU'RE JUST TORMENTING ALL OF US FOR YOUR OWN AMUSEMENT!”

“...Not anymore.” Kickin replied, “You guys are at my wit's end! This is what happens when you cross into not just my territory, not just Hoppy's territory, but OUR TERRITORY!”

“Hoppy doesn't like what you've become!”

KickinChicken then lets him go before punching him in the face, twice, knocking him down again. DogDay was coughing up for air and in pain. There were bruises and blood all over his face.

“I didn't do anything… to you…” DogDay said with tears in his eyes, “Why are you doing this?”

KickinChicken smirked.

“Because I can.” He replied, “And to show you all who you're messing with. Piece of shit you turned out to be.”

“No…” DogDay said before snapping at his current position, “YOU'RE THE REAL PIECE OF SHIT!”

“SHUT UP!”

Kickin then grabs him up again.

“I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT THIS REAL PIECE OF SHIT CAN DO!” He shouted as he punched him the face multiple times, “YOU PISS ME OFF FOR THE LAST TIME!”

KickinChicken then laid one more punch on DogDay that knocked him out cold. He landed on the floor, fainted. KickinChicken then looked at his feathered hands as it was somewhat covered in blood. He clenched his teeth and looked down at DogDay's unconscious body.

“Your friend CatNap is next.” He said, “Just wait. You'll end up in the same hospital as him.”

KickinChicken then walked out and heads to a nearby restroom to settle down. DandyDragon then heads inside to notice why DogDay's door to his locker room was opened and finds out that DogDay was on the ground, bruised by the face and unconscious. She gasped as she went over to try and get him up.

“DogDay!” She shouted in fear, “Oh my God, are you ok?! Oh my God, what the hell just happened to him?! He just got beaten up too?!”

DandyDragon then hollered out of the locker room for medical support.

“HEY! WE NEED PARAMEDICS HERE!” She shouted, “SOMEONE ELSE GOT BEATEN UP AND FAINTED!”
