Lapis' pov (😱😱) :

I spent a few hours talking to penelope, well I should say peridot. It was nice to talk to her again.  I haven't seen her Since I was 11, I'm now 16.

6 years is a long time she kept saying and I kinda agree with her. You lose time in a place like this.

She told me what school was like after I left, sounded as horrible as ever. And I told her what my life here was like.

Well. Not all of it. Some parts I have to keep to myself.  I get its not healthy to keep stuff in but we only just became friends again.

I wouldn't want to scare her away. I finally have someone to talk to. After me and Jessica broke up I went a little..colder? Some might say.

I did tell her a bit about mine and Jessica's relationship but I kept out a few major details. What i did say was we was both as bad as each other.

That's all she really needed to know.

I look at the time.

10:34 pm.

"It's getting a bit late now, maybe you should go to bed peri.."

She stopped midway sentence and looked at the time, then back at me

"Yeah your right..I still have to work on the drone anyway!"  She sounded sad at first but at the end of her sentence she managed to mask it.

As much as I wanted to say 'don't worry about the drone you don't have to do it!'  I couldn't.

Yellow diamond asked me for this drone. And yeah she might be the same rank as me but she has terrible punishments for me.

I only have got one since I've been here, but it was enough to make me never want another one again.

Peridot walked over to the door, me following behind her

"See you around I guess?" She sounded unsure.

"Yeah, see you around peri, goodnight." I open the door for her and she stepping outside, while she did I looked over her head and saw Jessica?

She was standing there watching then walked around the corner.

What the fuck was she up to.

"Uh lapis? Did you here me?" Peridot broke me out of my thoughts.

"Uh! No sorry. What did you say?" I say still looking above her

"Don't worry about it! Goodnight!" And with that she started to walk away

"Oh Uh! Goodnight!"  I shut the door.

What is she up to.

Peridots pov:

I cant belive it. This week has just been one massive roller coaster.

The girl I never thought I would see again has been here the whole time!! And we still acted like we did 6 years ago!!

Walking back to my room, I keep hearing footsteps behind me.

Who's that?

I turn and no one is there, maybe I'm just hearing things?

I get back to my room and I practically fell onto my bed.

Today was amazing.
