A little bit of smoke abuse in this one!! And a pov change at the end!!

Peridots pov:

I stepped out of the shower and scrambled for my towel, It was freezing. Once I managed to get it I wrap it around my body while shivering, grabbing my visors and sliding them on. They was a bit foggy.

I walk out of the bathroom to see a black box with a blue ribbon tied around it.
Maybe that's the outfit lapis said she was gonna get me?

I walk over to the box and sit cross legged in front of it. As I pushed the lid off it i see a black - DRESS? God I despise dresses.
I lift it up and take a look, it doesn't look that bad in all honesty, it isn't a v cut and I'm glad about that as I don't have a chest to show.

If there was a challenge of who had bigger boobs with me and a door, the door would win by a landslide. I continued to look at the dress-

It wasn't short, probably just above the knee and it was a tight fitted one.

There was a note at the bottom of the box, it read: "Hey I know your not the dress type but I found one that might be a little more comfortable. Can you be ready by 7 pm? - L"  

Seriously? She's still putting 'L' at the end of her notes?
I chuckle at that fact for a little bit and then looked at the time.

6:24 pm.

Shit.

After some struggling and almost giving up, I had the dress on. It looked okay on me? I think.
I style my hair and put on my boots.

My boots actually looked decent with it, good one lapis.
Before I left I grabbed my jacket and fold it over my arms and THEN make my way to lapis', room.

I had no idea if she was coming to get me or if I had to go to her, either way I still went to her.
Her pearl opened the door just as I was about to knock. She looked startled but then spoke

"My diamond just asked me to come get you..please come in.."  her soft voice was in a whisper, she then stepped to the side giving me walk way.

I walk in to see lapis in a suit, it was a black suit with a dark blue button up shirt, it was very well made and huged her frame perfectly.

"Woah-.."  I didn't realise I had said it till i actually heard myself.

She turned to me and went a light shade of red as she looked me up and down.

"You actually wore it- it looks nice.."  after she said it I couldn't help but blush myself.

She gave me a quick kiss and then started to lead me to her car. I wonder where we're going, it excites me, we get outside and sit in her car.

We pull up to a fancy place. I cant even pronounce the name-

"You ready to go in?"  Lapis broke the comfortable silence. She put on her jacket and took out a cigarette.
She's been smoking them alot lately and it worries me.

"Uhm yeah! Yeah-"  I get out the car, feeling the cool air slap me in the face. It was definitely a wake up call.
She gets out and locks the door and we head inside.

While she speaks to the person by the door for a table I look around, blocking them out. The place has a nice smell to it, it's warm inside and has nice decor.

I feel a small jab on my arm and i jolt

"You ready to sit down?"  She has a look of amusement on her face, probably because of me zoneing out.
