The Text.

~*~

"Mina! Get back here!" Zach roared chasing me through the house.

I giggled running through the halls, holding his cell phone. Reason why I have it, I just do. He left it unattended and to think I wouldn't take it is an understatement.

"This is mine now!" I yelled back dodging into my room and locking the door.

"MINA I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GOING TO LIGHT THIS DOOR ON FIRE!" Zach yelled banging on my door.

I ignored him finally turning to his phone, seeing who he was last texting. Wishing I could unsee.

Alex.

Protect her.

He's back.

Don't ignore me.

Zach really.

Please stop.

Zach.

I miss you.

The last one really got to me. It wasn't from Alex though.

I opened the door to a red faced Zach.

"Give it back Mina." He growled snatching his phone from my hands.

I couldn't form a completely sentence before he vanished out of my sight.

Zach and Alex.

My brother and my four hundred year old teacher.

What's going on?

"Mina!" A voice shouted getting me out of my thoughts.

I glanced up to face an excited Anna.

"Why are you in my house?" I asked confused.

"Oh, Um…Zach invited Nate so I just tagged along to hang out with you." She said smiling.

"I'm good." I whispered walking into my room.

"Mina." Anna groaned. "Let me in."

I rolled my eyes, "The doors open."

"I meant in your life." She stated staring at me. "I know something happened."

"What's there to know?" I asked defiantly.

"Everything!" She exclaimed jumping on my bed. "Your favorite color, food. Happy thoughts, sad. I want to know it all."

"Why?"

"To get to know you of course." She said smiling.

"That's weird." I whispered grabbing my journal.

I shook my head and grabbed Crystal's journal instead.

"You want to know me?" I asked Anna and she nodded eagerly.

"Then help me get through this book."

"What?" She asked confused glancing at the journal.

I turned towards her and sighed, "Help me get through this book. Then you can get to know me."

"Okay. What's book is it? I just love to read." She asked excitedly.

"It's a book you don't know of." I whispered staring down at it.

"It's Crystal's journal."
