Since childhood, an unsettling incident has persistently haunted you, an incident you desperately wanted to erase from your memory. Regrettably, your attempts failed. What was this haunting event? At the age of six, your parents were involved in a tragic car accident. You carried the weight of responsibility, blaming yourself as they were in the car to buy a birthday cake for you.
Subsequently, you spent three years residing in an adoption shelter, only to be adopted by an abusive family. Their relentless physical abuse left you battered and bruised, simply for saying the word "no." Eventually, the adoption shelter discovered the truthand intervened, leading you to be adopted by a prosperous woman.

She was a famous fashion icon in the world of fashion.

Though her emotions remained concealed. Nevertheless, you knew deep down that she cherished you. Despite already having three children, each driven by their own ambitions for her company, she envisioned you as the future CEO. Recognising your genuine intentions, untainted by a desire for her wealth, she bestowed this responsibility upon you. Unfortunately, ever since assuming the role of CEO, you find yourself in great danger. All those crazy siblings have been after you for a long time now.

You were out of Korea. You were in Paris for business. You just closed a enormous deal. Which earned your company millions of dollars. You were at the airport waiting for your manager to pick you up.

At yn's office.
Although yn returned from just work but that gave her no excuse to neglect her work. So therefore, she was back on her seat working her ass off.

Y/n heard her phone ringing, it was her mother.
She forgot how ambitious her mother is. She forgot to inform her that she had landed safely.

Yn immediately picked up the phone.

Mrs.Ju: "what is this behaviour coming from you? How could you forget to inform me you landed safely. I've been worried sick for an hour."

Yn: "I'm sorry. There's just so much work, mother."

Mrs.Ju: "Other than this. You know the circumstances of handeling this business."

Yn: "yes, but I think the danger has dropped down. Ever since jun (elder brother) went to America. He finally gave up on chasing me."

Mrs.Ju: "you do know. That the other two are still here."

Yn: "they're bugs. I'll just need to step on them."

Mrs.Ju: "they have power. It's not that simple. You have to get married! You need someone to protect you!"

Yn: "I thought we sorted this out. I don't wanna get married.

Mrs.Ju: "you have no choice young lady. I arranged dinner with one of the most prestigious family in South Korea."

Yn chuckles over the phone.

Yn: "come on, they can't be bigger than us. It's not like it's the jeon empire."

Yn jokes.

"..."

Yn: "mother?"

Mrs.Ju: "it actually is."

Hearing that yn choked on damn air.

yn: "why'd you mess with them?? You really didn't leave me with no choice."

Mrs.Ju: "It was actually Mr.jeon's proposal."
