"Ellia, I'm so glad you're safe," He said, running towards his girlfriend and embracing in his arms. Too shocked to do anything, Ellia stood as still as a statue whilst Draco held her.
"You were there. You nearly killed him yourself, you betrayed him. You betrayed me," Ellia muttered, her eyes still wide eyed from seeing Draco.
"He threatened to kill me and mother. I couldn't let that happen, I just couldn't," Draco told Ellia.
"But, but you betrayed me still. And you left me for nothing," Ellia mumbled, the tears swelling in her eyes.
"I had to leave Ellia, it wasn't my choice," Draco pleaded, "Please Ellia, you have to believe me."
"You could have saved him, you could have," Ellia muttered, looking up at Draco's crystallised eyes.
"I know I didn't, I'm sorry. I couldn't," Draco sighed, pulling Ellia into his chest as she begun crying. Stroking her head, he held back his own tears knowing that it he couldn't keep holding her for long. It wouldn't be long until they would go to find Harry, and that it could possibly be over. She'd hate him even more if they did that, even more than she already did. "You need to sleep, Ellia. You can stay in my room for now, you're in shock," Draco said, carefully picking up his girlfriend bridal style and kicking he balcony doors back open. The wind traced past his body as he stepped inside the room, then into the hallway and carried the sobbing girl to his room. His mother was behind him, she'd seen Ellia and him talking through the windows of the doors. The girl truly was distressed and keeping her in Malfoy Manor made it worse. All it did was probably bring back old memories of hers, old memories of Lucius when he was stronger. Now he can't even bear to face the girl. She watched as Draco lied her down softly on his bed, before he too lied down next to her. The pressure on her only son infuriated her, as she hated the fact he was dragged into it all. She watched over him as he let Ellia snuggle into him, before she shut the door slowly, leaving the pair in peace. She had to find a way to get Ellia out of the Manor, she couldn't bear seeing her so distressed anymore.
It was once they left, Severus, Lucius and the rest of the Death Eaters taking shelter in the Malfoy Manor. It gave Narcissa some free time to save Ellia, and take her to somebody who would look after her. Do the protecting that she needed, that Narcissa couldn't give to her. She'd set it all out, frame it as if Eileen had kidnapped her from Malfoy Manor, when arriving to see her son. She'd gathered the supply's, and a bag was packed for Ellia and Eileen with plenty of food, water and clothing, as well as an additional tent. They needed to go, to hide. Staying at Eileen's wouldn't be safe enough. She waited downstairs until Eileen turned up, a cloak slung over her body.
"Narcissa, are you sure this will work?" Eileen asked her, closing the back door behind her. It would be too obvious to arrive through the front door, anybody could see it then.
"Yes, it should. But are you sure you want to be the one to take her, I can find somebody who can," Narcissa suggested, not wanting Eileen to be at any immediate harm.
"She's my granddaughter, Narcissa. I just want her to be safe," Eileen said, pulling down her hood. Narcissa handed her a bag with everything they needed, as well as a spare wand.
"She's upstairs with Draco at the moment," Narcissa told Eileen.
"And does he know? Draco?" Eileen asked Narcissa
"Yes, he's fully aware with situation. He's saying good bye now," Narcissa informed Eileen.
"Okay, I hope this works," Eileen sighed.
"Yes, I really hope it does," Narcissa said, before walking upstairs. Silently, Eileen followed Narcissa as she found herself following her through the never ending mansion. Towering walls that trapped you inside the buildings. The flashing colours of green over righting people's sense of mind. Only until Eileen realised that she was in Draco's room, did she realise that not all of the mansion was a maze. Draco's held a more senseless atmosphere.
"Mother, she's still asleep," Draco informed Narcissa, pointing towards Ellia's restful body. Eileen noted how beautiful she was. More and more Ellia resembled her mother, the plump cheeks warn on her pale skin. She still had her father's midnight hair, Eileen's petite body.
"I can carry her," Eileen suggested, sitting down on the bed.
"Are you sure Eileen? You must be very fragile by now and..." Narcissa started, but Eileen was quick to answer.
"I should be fine Narcissa. She's my granddaughter, after all," Eileen assured Narcissa, wrapping her arms around her granddaughter like she was still a baby.
"Please stay safe, and keep her safe Eileen," Narcissa said, "I figured you can apparate instead for now, the ministry aren't watching you or Ellia anymore."
"Thank you Narcissa, Draco. I will keep her safe, I'll guard her with my life," Eileen promised them.
"I trust you will," Narcissa said, before turning to face her saddened son.
"I suppose this is goodbye," Draco sighed, turning around so his back faced Eileen and Ellia, "Just say to her, if she asks, that she shouldn't ... she shouldn't come back here."
"She won't be, she'll be staying with me," Eileen assured him, before suddenly apparating out the Manor.
"What do you mean you can't find her?" Molly asked Arthur, pacing the floors of the kitchen.
"She's gone missing Molly. She's nowhere to be seen in the ministry," Arthur revealed to his wife, before watching her cover her face with her hands.
"What are we going to tell the twins, or Hermione or Ron or even Ginny," Molly sighed, stressing out.
"What do you mean, what are we going to tell the twins," George asked his parents. Spiralling around, Arthur realised that his children and Hermione were now gathered around them.
"It's Ellia," Molly started, as Aurora came running down the stairs.
"She's with Eileen!" She shouted, waving a letter in the air. Both Molly's and Arthur's faces dropped emotionless at the news.
"What was that Aurora?" Fred asked his girlfriend, taking the letter out of her hand.
"She's with Eileen, her grandmother. Eileen wrote is a letter," Aurora said, "Read it out Fred."
"Okay. 'Dear Weasley family, and anybody else who is concerned. I'm writing to you to inform you that Ellia Mae Snape is safe and sound, she is staying with me for a while until it's safe to go anywhere. I am currently unsure how long this will be, but it shouldn't be too long as I know that she misses you all dearly. Please understand that I cannot tell you out location in case You-Know-Who or my son gets ahold of this letter. Best wishes, Eileen Snape. Snape? Ellia's staying with Snape's mother? Surely that's not safe mum," Fred asked his mother, as she snatched the letter out of his hands and read it.
"No, Eileen is alright. Severus is a lot of things but he wouldn't lay a finger on his mother," Molly informed them.
"But we thought the same about him and Ellia though mum," Ron said.
"I know, but Ellia is different. Ellia's background is a worst case scenario and revenge wants to be taken on her for no reason. However Eileen is innocent, so she's safe," Molly explained to her children.
"But Ellia's done nothing wrong either," Ginny piped up.
"I know, but the good people are always punished," Molly said.
