"Why must now be the time that Eileen turns, I've never understood that woman. Even if she is Snape's mother, I still expected higher standards than that," Lupin groaned, trudging over to Ellia and Marley from the cottage.

"It was ... strange," Ellia murmured, flicking back a piece of her long black hair. She looked up to see Aurora's angelic little girl giggling at her, so Ellia grabbed her under the arms and swung her into the air, causing her to laugh louder.

"Whose baby is that?" Remus asked, stunned by the small witch.

"She's a Weasley," Ellia told him.

"Ahh, I see. That explains the ginger locks," Remus chuckled, Tonks and and Aurora coming up behind her.

"She's my little Weasley," Aurora said, before Ellia handed her the darling girl.

"Bit young, aren't we?" Remus asked Aurora, surprised that she already had a child and he didn't.

"You're never too young to have a child when you might die the next day," Tonks said, standing beside Ellia," You get bigger and bigger each time I see you."

"I grow, I suppose. Cheers for putting up with us," Tonks smiled.

"You'll always be welcome here," She said, snuggling Ellia like a little sister.

"You always have been," Remus chuckled, before checking the time on his watch, "We better get inside, it seems we have some catching up to do."

Ellia's hands were wrapped around the steaming mug as she told the story of what had happened to her since she left the ministry, or at least what she remembered. And as usual, Tonks, Lupin and Aurora all day listening to her like it was a fairytale, except there was no happy ending. The whole time Marley lied still in a crib that Tonks had found, sleeping peacefully.

"It seems to me that you've came to the right place," Remus said, taking a sip of butterbeer from his glass.

"Well yeah, we figured we should come here," Ellia said.

"You're right, Remus. She does remind me so much of her mother," Tonks added.

"You knew her?" Ellia asked Tonks, curious to know more about her mother.

"Briefly, when I was very young. Her and her sister El...."

"Annailia," Remus coughed, "Her and her sister Annailia."

"Yes, well anyway, her and Annailia used to live near me before their father died," Tonks explained.

"Did they? What was she like? Was she beautiful?" Ellia asked.

"The most beautiful flower in a field," Remus answered, thinking back to how her mother really looked. He'd sworn on her grave that he would never to tell Ellia who her real mother was. Severus, Albus, Minerva and him all knew her mother was Annailia, yet the rest of the world had no clue.

"She was kind hearted as well. Protected you until the day she died," Tonks continued," Of course I only know this because Remus used to spend his days mourning his best friend."

"Best friend? With my father as her partner? You two must have shot each other," Ellia joked, knowing that the pair swum in deep pools of hate with each other.

"Yes well, those days are in the past now," Remus sighed,"The only things left of your mother I'm afraid is her gravestone and a star necklace, and a few photographs and memories." The star necklace that her father had given to her that she'd stupidly left in Hogwarts in her very first year sprung to her mind. It would make sense that he'd give it to her.

"I have that, well I had it," Ellia sighed, almost kicking herself that she'd lost it.

"You did? Where is it now?" Remus asked her, almost springing out of his seat.

"At Hogwarts somewhere. My father gave it to me in my very first year," Ellia said, remembering the trinket box it was in.

"I'm sure it'll return it's way home to you," Remus told Ellia, placing down his now empty glass and pacing out of the small living room.

"Tonks?" Ellia asked, more curious than ever about her mother.

"Hmm?" Tonks replied, looking up at the girl.

"What was my mother's name?" She asked her.

"I'm not sure I can tell you that, Ellia," Tonks sighed, knowing it was a secret.

"But please, I just want to know who she is," Ellia said argumentatively, eager to know who she was.

"I can't tell you, all I can tell is her father was called Alfred," Tonks have in, giving her one small detail. She already knew her aunts supposed name was Annailia, she would just have to find out her mother's name herself.

"Urm... Thank you. I suppose it'll get me somewhere," Ellia sighed, before exiting the room.

"Tough crowd, ehh?" Aurora said, jumping out of her seat to check if Marley was alright.

"Yeah, I guess so," Tonks chuckled.

Ellia wondered outside of the cottage, admiring the beautiful forests of trees and the highlands. She already knew this place was Scotland, she could tell by the bad weather but beautiful surroundings. Lupin and Tonk's cottage was planted in the middle of a forest, in an opening wide enough to see the highlands. Ellia loved it. It was an amazing sight compared to Spinner's End. However the scenery didn't distract her for much longer. She was eager now, more than ever, to find out who her mother was. She already knew she had a sister called Annailia and their father was called Alfred, but that was about it. It puzzled her how neither Lupin or Tonk's could tell her much about her mother, and it was just as annoying too. But she also knew her mother couldn't occupy her mind for too long, a war was now beginning. A war that was between good and evil, innocent and guilty. Unfortunately for Ellia, all her family was guilty and evil, she seemed like the only good one.

"Ellia, the war has begun," Remus said, joining his goddaughter who was perched on the grass.

"I'm going to fight, and I'm going to defend my friends and what I believe is right," Ellia said, not making eye contact with Remus.

"You have to go back to Hogwarts though, even though Dumbledore's not there. You have to," Remus commanded her, knowing it would be safest for her there.

"I know, but I'm just dreading if my father's going to be teaching there again, I really wouldn't want to face him," Ellia sighed, afraid her father might possibly hurt her. It was a wild thought that he would, but it still was a possibility.

"He's the new headmaster," Lupin sighed, causing Ellia to almost jump out of her skin.

"He's what? He can't be! Minerva wouldn't let him," Ellia said, now biting her fingernails because of the fright of seeing her father. It couldn't be true, she kept telling herself.

"It wasn't her choice, Ellia. If it had been he would've been sacked beforehand. I'm sorry, I know it must be a shock," Lupin said, wrapping a supporting arm around his goddaughter.

"I know it couldn't have been her choice, I just wish it was. The last thing I want to do is go to Hogwarts and be greeted with his face at every feast where Albus sat," Ellia sighed, looking out at the distance. She knew she had to face him at one point. At least she had some sort of safety and protection from him whilst in the walls of Hogwarts .... she hoped.
