Final-War Part 2

As the sound of gunfire and explosions echoed around them, Miguel and Sarah found themselves face to face once again after a long time. A wave of shock passed over them as they slowly walked towards each other. Their eyes met, and it was as if time stood still.

Miguel's heart was pounding as he got closer to Sarah. Tears streamed down his face as he reached out and touched her cheeks. "It's you, Sarah, it's you!" he cried out.

"I've been looking for you for a long time, I can't believe this day is finally here," he said, his voice trembling with emotion.

"My love, Miguel, I'm here again," Sarah replied, her eyes filled with tears of joy.

They hugged each other tightly, holding on to each other as if they would never let go. After what felt like an eternity, they finally pulled away from each other. Miguel gazed into Sarah's eyes and saw all the love and longing he had felt for her over the years.

Without saying a word, they leaned in and kissed each other. It was a moment they both knew they would never forget. For a brief moment, even the war raging around them seemed to fade away as they lost themselves in each other's embrace. These were the moments they had both been dreaming of, the moments when nothing else mattered except the love they shared.

Until they heard gunshots from General Armando and the other Filipino soldiers.

"Kill that American woman!" said the general.

Sarah immediately hid behind Miguel at the same time they fired several gunshots at their area one after another. The Filipinos rained bullets and Miguel retaliated. It was difficult for Miguel to fight because he was also fighting against the Americans and his fellow Filipinos. The fight became intense until he got close to General Armando's place and they had a short skirmish before Miguel finally shot the General, killing him.

"I'm sorry General, but not being violent is the key to freedom," said Miguel here.

When he returned to Sarah, she was shocked when James was holding her.

"Help me, Miguel!" It's crying.

"Sarah!" James shouted, he tried to fire and chase Sarah but other American soldiers blocked the way. The firing became intense again on both sides.

After the incident, Sarah and Miguel decided to part ways again. Their relationship had always been tumultuous, and this latest event proved to be the final straw. The conflict was fierce, and both sides suffered significant losses. Eventually, the battle came to an end, with no clear victor in sight. The soldiers from both sides retreated to their respective camps to regroup and strategize their next moves. It was a time of uncertainty and tension, as everyone wondered what would happen next in this ongoing conflict.

After a series of unfortunate events, the relationship between Filipinos and Americans turned sour and hostilities continued to escalate in various parts of the country. Neither side sought out peace talks, leading to further animosity and violence.

To drive out the American forces completely, Filipinos led by Miguel and Tomas engaged in several more battles. Meanwhile, General James of the American army was holding Sarah captive and planning a massive counter-offensive, which he hoped would be the decisive blow against the Filipino resistance. The stakes were high and tensions were at an all-time high as each side prepared for what could be the most significant battle yet.

Amid the Philippine-American War, Miguel, a Filipino strategist, saw the importance of creating a solid plan to protect their camp from the incoming American soldiers. He drafted detailed blueprints to build barriers and guards around their camp, using all the resources available to them. He knew that their survival depended on their ability to defend themselves against the powerful American military.

Meanwhile, James, an American soldier, had captured Sarah and was using her as leverage to get information about the Filipino army. He was determined to use any means necessary to defeat the Filipinos, including torture and intimidation.

On November 21, 1901, James and his troops rushed towards Plaridel, Bulacan, where they were met with fierce resistance from the Filipinos. Little did they know that Miguel had already anticipated their attack and had prepared for it. The Filipino camp was fortified with barriers and guards, and their soldiers were positioned strategically to defend against the American invasion.

The American troops were taken aback by the strength and determination of the Filipinos, and many of them fell in the face of the Filipino offensives. James was furious that his plan had failed, and he vowed to use all his resources to defeat the Filipinos and take revenge for his fallen comrades.

As the Americans advanced towards the enemy camp, heavy gunfire broke out. The war had resumed, and the soldiers were fighting with all their might. Amidst the chaos, Miguel noticed something that made his blood boil with anger - James was holding Sarah. The sight of James, holding the woman he loved, made Miguel's blood boil with rage. Despite the situation, Miguel tried his best to remain calm and focused on the mission at hand.

James and Miguel were in the middle of a heated conversation when Miguel suddenly shouted, "James!!! Let's get this over with!" James, taken aback by Miguel's language, responded calmly, "Alright, let's finish this." Miguel, who was on his way to meet James in person, didn't know that he was walking into a dangerous situation. As he got closer to James' place, he suddenly found himself surrounded by a group of American soldiers who immediately pointed their rifles at his back. Despite the threat, Miguel refused to back down and shouted, "You are a coward!"

"We are in a war, anything can happen," said James when he tried to shoot Miguel, Tomas blocked him so he was hit by many bullets. Because of what happened, Miguel had the opportunity to fight and kill other American soldiers, but James and Sarah escaped.

Miguel approached his friend Tomas who was dying. He talked to her crying.

"Tomas, don't let go" Miguel cried.

"Go after him," said Tomas in a dying voice.

"No. I will not leave you" Miguel said again.

"Thank you. Thank you, Miguel" was the last word of Tomas before he finally lost his breath. Miguel cried a lot at the loss of his friend.

He got up angrily and took his rifle.

"I'm going to finish this," he said angrily.
