No one's POV

Both the Kim's and the Jeon's household was shining brightly due to the upcoming auspicious marriage union of Taehyung and Jungkook. But we all know that the Jeons were happy for two reasons: the dowry and the thought of finally getting rid of the so-called disgusting creature ( in their perspective ) named Jeon Jungkook.

The 5 days prior to the date of marriage, the house would be filled with relatives and friends for the Nalangu function ( can also be called Haldi function ), which happens everyday till the day before marriage for both the bride and the groom.

As we all know, Jungkook looked extraordinarily beautiful during the Nalangu function, which the Jeons of course didn't like and called him ugly. Do you readers think he is ugly in this picture?

Soon the day before marriage arrived, the Wedding Reception. All the friends and family members of Kims and Jeons were invited ( readers are invited too!! ). Though Taehyung's friends knew that he was gay, they never discouraged him for marrying Jungkook. Of course why would they, when Tae was about to marry the most beautiful girl they had ever seen.

Our beloved Jungkookie would always blush when someone from the Kims would praise him for his beauty, which made the Jeons roll their eyes

When Taekook were taking pictures, Kookie always had a shade of tint on his slightly chubby cheeks, feeling shy on standing near the Greek God, aka his soon-to-be hubby Kim Taehyung.

The next day, the auspicious day that unites Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook arrived sooner than they expected. Both the bride and groom wore their traditional clothes for the marriage. They then sat on the platform meant for the bride and the groom, after which the priest made them wear flower garlands.

( imagine Tae sitting with a poker face 🙂 )

The priest made Taekook recite some mantras. Soon the priest handed over the Mangalyam ( can also be called as Mangalsutra ) to Tae. The Mangalyam is one of the symbols that signify the marriage of two people, which is tied to the bride by the groom on her neck.

When Tae held the sacred yellow thread and turned towards Jungkook, an unsettled feeling arose in his chest. He felt like he was going to commit a sin in front of the holy fire. When he tied the three knots of the thread, he looked at his now wife Kim Jungkook, who had his head bowed down in submission with a face of content, showing his commitment to their union. Tae felt like he would cry in guilt, seeing the whole-hearted commitment of his wife to this marriage that meant nothing to him.

Tae then placed kungumam ( also known as sindoor/kumkum ) on Kook's hair partition and on the knots that he tied and on the Mangalyam. Then Tae's dupatta ( cloth on Tae's shoulder ) and Kook's pallu ( end of Jungkook's saree ) were tied together. Taekook then interlocked their pinkies and went around the holy fire 7 times, where each revolution meant a vow that the bride and the groom were to commit to the God and ourselves.

Tae then made Kook wear the toe rings, thus completing the marriage rituals, making them Kim Taehyung and Kim Jungkook for the rest of their lives.
