Damian lets out a heavy sigh as he watches Emile and Ewen bicker from across the table. they always found something to debate about, well anything was more peaceful then being annoyed by that stupid Baguette girl.
he couldn't believe he let Anya slip pass him and take his rightful place on the top, He saw no point in even trying anymore, if his father really cared he would of acknowledged his efforts by now, Anya overtaking him was the nail in the coffin for Damian.
Damian felt as if his feet had to drag him to the next class, rather then the cool stoic impression he once displayed he was just disappointed.
He sat down, the metal of the chair scraping the linoleum floor beneath it as he pulled the seat in.
He started the trail off, maybe Emilie had a point. maybe he did need to lower his guard from time to time, when it came to friend's he had Emile and Ewen, but at times it felt as if they were closer to each other then they were to him, and they only ever occasionally acknowledged him to barrage him with Praise or to ask for something, like he was some sort of god to them.
and just because he agreed with Emilie didn't mean he had any respect for her, he still 100% did not like that girl.
He looked towards Anya and Becky who were chatting as usual, his eyes lingering on Anya, "why.. how? Did i let you win"
