Rival Offline (Anya Forger x Damian Desmond)

Chapter Fifteen: Tension

The tension was so heavy Anya could feel it crushing her in her seat, Damian sat across from her with his arms folded over his chest, the look on his face was like a child who was just scolded by his mother.

"Um so..." Emile said turning towards the group, "we should assign a leader..." he continued feeling uneasy at the awkward situation they were in.

"Ugh" Becky groaned slamming her hand on the desk, startling the poor girl who was forced to join this group of enemies.

"Listen, we are not going to let this ruin our trip, Anya and Damian you two need to put your differences aside and get along" Becky ranted sending a chill down Emile and Ewen's spines, the look on her face was full of anger.

"Gee Chill, Becks, It's fine, we are going to do this right" Anya reassured her best friend ignoring Damian's grunts.

"Yeah! Come on Damian, we are only young once, lets make the most of this" Ewen said ecstatically, Damian shot him a look sending a shockwave through his body.

Damian Groans before switching his character completely "Yeah" Damian forced out, "Let's get along" he said faking a smile, making everyone at the table feel uneasy to see such a look on his face.

"Perfect! So let's see" Becky slapped the trip guide down onto the desk, Emilie Ewen and Becky leaned over it discussing fun things to do in their free time.

"Why don't we just split for the free ti-" Damian started but was immediately cut off by a loud "No" from Becky who stared daggers into him, Damian started to believe his issue with Becky was more then just the fact that she was friends with Anya.

"Listen we have a plan set, and if you go against it i wont hesitate to report you" Becky threatened, that was enough to get Damian to fold, the thought of his father getting a call about him and possibly seeing him as more of a disappointment was enough to scare him.

"Fine.." Damian Muttered

Sakura: "Ugh you wont believe it Kokei i had the worst day at school"

Kokei: "me too, id rather not get into it tho"

Sakura: "i understand"

Anya put her phone down onto her desk, the sound of the phone shutting off was the last thing she heard before she face planted into her bed.

She let out a loud groan into the pillow, the fabric vibrated against her face.

"Why the hell, did I have to be grouped up with him" she thought, I guess i'll have to try get along with him, she gripped the cotton in her hands, being to tired to move she drifted off to sleep fully dressed in her uniform on top of her bedsheets.

She woke up a few hours later with an incredibly heavy force anchoring her to the bed, "that's it... I'm dying" she thought as she opened her eyes, a big white ball of fur resting on her, Bond was sleeping peacefully on her bed.

She didn't have the heart to yell at him to get off her, she could never be mean to him.

Her phone buzzed on her desk, the screen lighting up the dimly lit bedroom.

"Bond" she said softly as she pet his soft white fur, he stirred awake, a smile immediately on his face, panting excitedly to see his owner awake.

"I love having naps with you Bond, but please don't sleep directly on top of me" she said, he whimpered causing her heart to shatter a little.

She stood up and looked at her phone picking it up her eyes adjusted to the sudden light, and opening her Discord messages.

Kokei: "Sorry, that seemed kinda mean, i didn't mean to offend you, I just had a bad day"

Anya stared at the screen in confusion, was she upset? She thought as she looked at screen

Sakura: "Hey sorry I fell asleep, It's okay I'm not upset or anything" she typed into her phone

Kokei: "oh thank goodness, I was worried I might of offended you, the thought of losing you was killing me"

She read the message a blush creeping onto her face, "Wait why am I blushing" she said out loud covering her face with her hands.
