Chapter - 44

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian were ready to go with Er Ming. They needed to understand the situation as soon as possible.

" So are you ready ? " Er Ming said.

Both nodded. Lan Wangji took out the blind fold when Er Ming interrupted him.

" You won't need it , Wang ."

Lan Wangji nodded.

Er Ming then enveloped them in a barrier and vanished in thin air .

They found themselves on a rock mountain, touching the clouds. They looked around and he could only see the white cotton like clouds around them. They were standing on a wide path enough for one person to walk .

" What's this place ? " Wei Wuxian asked sticking to the mountain behind him.

" An unknown place. But it's rumoured that he lives here." Er Ming said.

" It's said that he only meet those whom he want."

Lan Wangji looked at Er Ming with questioning gaze.

" I came here once but returned empty hands. So let's just give a try with you." Er Ming said.

" Lan Zhan ? " Wei Wuxian asked confused.

Er Ming nodded.

" Who live here ? " Lan Wangji asked.

" Lord Ding Shanyuan or we simply call him lord Shanyuan. He is said to be legendary dragon of dragon lord's time and fight beside him. It's said that he cut himself from the world after lord dragon left this world but still decided to stay in world. "

" I don't know if he still here or not ." Er Ming said sighing.

" Mn "

They stood beside each other ,  waiting.

" Do we have to wait only ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" No other alternative." Er Ming said.

" If he wants he'll come otherwise...."

" If he has left this place ? "

" Then we'll find other way. "

Wei Wuxian sighed and nodded. He sat down , while hanging his leg down the mountain, leisurely.

Soon a majestic, vast dragon appeared in front of them among the clouds. They couldn't see properly but only get few glimpses among clouds of his golden scales sparkling like the sun rays .

" Beautiful.... " Wei Wuxian was mesmerised by the sight.

The dragon was flying between the clouds, swaying his long snake like body in air and suddenly a huge dragon face come in front of them and the cobalt blue orbs were staring at them.

" Lord Shanyuan ! " Er Ming greeted and bowed while bending touch the ground while holding his feathers in front.

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian bowed too, respectfully.

The dragon, Lord Shanyuan was just stared at them. Lan Wangji stood straight after bowing. Er Ming too got up.

Er Ming and Wei Wuxian saw the majestic dragon to move towards Lan Wangji. He fixed his gaze on him.

The next thing that happened was really shocking. The legendary dragon lowered his head in front of Lan Wangji like he was paying respect to him.

" Lord Wang ! " A deep , hoarse voice came.

Hearing the addressment , Wei Wuxian got stunned. Er Ming seemed to get surprised too.

" I'm not him." Lan Wangji said in his usual calm tone.
