Wei Wuxian was in tears after hearing everything. He didn't know just how much pain the jade go though. Those who supposed to be family were become the enemy. He felt air suffocated and finally a sob escaped from his throat.

" Wang's body is different from other dragons. Even after losing his form he possesses the power and also a golden core but that's also a curse for him. So he cannot use it. "

" He is living with it since that day. I know it must have been painful for him . " Er Ming said.

Wei Wuxian chest squeezed at the thought just how the other was leaving, keeping everything inside, shouldering the burden all alone, no one to hold , no one to talk , no one to understand. Even his own sect never cared about him.

He knew how difficult it was to live with burden of beloved's life and the jade gone through the same even before knowing what the true world was or maybe he knew, earlier than anyone else, without knowing there were many beautiful things but seemed like in his portion there was nothing beautiful.

" It still hurts to remember how he called himself a fault , how he cursed his own birth . " Er Ming said.

" And now he didn't want anyone to help him , rejecting us , fearing that ..... " Er Ming didn't finish. But Wei Wuxian didn't need . He understood.

" He is like ocean, no one knows how many storms are whirling inside with a calm surface over." Er Ming said and left.

He got up and went inside. He sat beside the jade. Wei Wuxian can understand as why even years ago , jade didn't do anything. No he didn't , it's that he couldn't.

Wei Wuxian gently tuck the hairs which was resting on Jade's face , behind his ears.

" You have me . " Wei Wuxian said.

After sometime he got up as he heard Zhao Yi Ran calling him.

" What happened , Yi Ran ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" Master Wei ..." Zhao Yi Ran said staring at an old lady in front. Actually it was the old lady house who let them inside seeing Lan Wangji's condition and herself stayed in neighbourhood.

" Grandma, is something matter ? " Wei Wuxian asked politely.

" I came to ask if the gongzi is fine. " The old lady said in trembling voice.

Wei Wuxian first made the old lady sit.

" He is fine , grandma. Thank you. We'll never forget this kindness ." Wei Wuxian said.

" No , no it's nothing. I'm glad to hear that he is fine. " The old lady said.

" Grandma , don't you have a family ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" My only daughter is married in the town. "

" Oh ! Grandma, do you need our help in anything ? I can help you. " Yi Ran said.

" No no son , I'm fine. " The old lady said smiling.

" Oh ! " Yi Ran said feeling a little disappointed.

Wei Wuxian patted Yi Ran's head, " Yi Ran, why don't you let grandma taste your cooking. "

Yi Ran mood lit up and he sprinted inside. Soon he came back with a bowl of porridge.

" Grandma, all ingredients belong to you but it's my hardwork. " Yi Ran said giving bowl to old lady.

The old lady with a smile accepted it and started eating.

" You have magic in your hands , son ." The old lady said and with a satisfied smile she finsihed the bowl.

" If you need anything, please tell me. The village will help you. " The old lady said getting up.
