Wei Wuxian couldn't find Lan Wangji near cold pond so he walked back. When he was going he saw Nie Huisang and Jiang Cheng talking . He approached them.

" What's wrong with Lans today ? It's like both brothers are in one side against the whole sect." Jiang Cheng said irritated.

" Who knows ? " Nie Huisang said.

" Zewu jun's words were really surprising when he said that Lan Wangji is not an object."

" I can't wrap my head around his words."

" It may be related to their childhood. I don't know , I don't know " Nei Huisang said waving his hand.

" They are sect heirs . What could possibly happen to them ? " Jiang Cheng said annoyed.

" What do you mean Nie Huisang ?" Wei Wuxian asked coldly.

" Oh ! Wei Xiong you are here ." Nie Huisang said smiling.

" Answer me what I have asked ." Wei Wuxian was getting angry.

" I don't know, I don't know." Nei Huisang take few steps back.

Wei Wuxian's eyes turned red. He wanted to knew what had happened to Lan Wangji.

" Don't be angry, Wei Xiong. My brother used to say that twin jades of Gusu didn't have a peaceful childhood. "

" And ? " Wei Wuxian said.

" I don't know more . He never talked freely about them. "

Nie Huisang hide his face behind his fan.

" It has nothing to do with us . Why are you getting angry ? " Jiang Cheng said gazing at Wei Wuxian.

" It has ." Wei Wuxian said and stormed out. He was afraid that he would say something he shouldn't.

" Sect leader Jiang , Hanguang Jun is important for Wei Xiong. You should know it ." Nie Huisang said and also leave.

Jiang Cheng was envious of Lan Wangji. He thought that his brother would never come back to Yunmeng because of him. He knew it was his fault too. But it hurt that Wei Wuxian think about Lan Wangji only.

On the other side, Lan Wangji was in the front of Gentian house . This time he wasn't kneeling like he used to do after his mother's death. He was caressing the Gentian flowers in the courtyard. He came here after so many years.

" Muqin "

" I am leaving."

Lan Wangji was speaking softly.

He turned sideways to see the close door of his mother's house which hadn't opened since he was four.

" Farewell "

" muqin."

Lan Wangji stood up and walked outside.

When Lan Wangji reached to Jingshi , he saw his brother standing there.

" Xiong Zhang" Lan Wangji said to get attention. He cupped his hand in front of him to greet his older brother.

" Wangji !" Lan Xichen said.

Lan Wangji stood beside his brother. No one spoke .

" I'm sorry Wangji for earlier."

" Xiong Zhang shouldn't think about past."

" I couldn't help when Zhao Yi Ran praised your eyes." Lan Xichen said.

Lan Wangji remained silent.

" He remind me of that day ." Lan Xichen said.
