Chapter 8: Der Rabe

I looked around to find this Sage person. Who was it? Our good old demon guy. Huh so that's his name.

Sage groaned and got out of his seat to stand in the front of the class. Lesso regarded him with a professional nod and he turned to the class. Eros seemed to lean forward and pay attention. The short mor- well I guess he isn't a mortal huh? Any ways. He lifted his hands which glowed like a fire made by an arsonist. The light grew until a flame concorded his hands and made his yellow eyes glow as well. After a second of holding the flame he released it and the flames danced around us.

Some fell onto peoples desk and well all flinched. Though Eros played with the flames. He always loved playing with fire. Sage regarded it with a slight twitch of his lip. Almost like he wanted to smile. Lesso brushed off the embers as Sage let the flames die down.

"Wonderful perfo-" She was cut off by a finger Sage held up to stop her. She raised a brow before Sage walked past her and walked to a window and unlatching it.

"Mr. Sage close the window," The horned man didn't listen and instead just smirked, backed up, and dove out the window. We all rushed out our seats and looked out the different windows to see him. We all watched as he was headed head first to the lake stories below. We all held our breath until he tricked us. Just like any demon would. From his back unfolded dark black almost bat wings and he flew just above the water and looked back at us.

"That was sick," I heard someone say behind me. I turned to see Eros looking down with a spacy look in his eyes. Uh oh someone doesn't have a thing for just women? Lesso sighed and shook her head with a laugh. She turned to us a yelled.

"Alright back to your seats we still have more to go over!," We all rushed back to our seats as she turned to the window. "And Mr. Morningstar get your ass back here!" She twirled her cane in her hand and walked back to her desk just as soon as Sage dove back into the room. We all clapped for him which he regarded with a smile and a bow. Eros was smiling and when Sage walked by whispered.

"Such a show off. But hey that was really cool," Sage nodded to Eros and sat down.

Lesso started calling other people. Everyone's talent was different from the last. Maddy showed off her cool powers that made every one feel high, which is not my favorite but I'm proud, Jayla only had her cat form to show which Lesso didn't seem fazed with, and we should all already know what Darcy can do.

"And to wrap up our class Mr. Eros," Lesso said looking at the prince. His eyes widened slightly before sighing and standing. He fixed his tie and grabbed his own cane walking to the front. He gave Lesso some what of a cocky grin and she glared at him. Ohhh I see whats going on. He's trying to copy her and piss her off. Eros didn't even flinch at Lesso's look and just did his thing.

"Now I can't shift the shadows like Caiden or fly like Sage but I have something more...unique. Would someone like to be a volunteer?" No one raised there hand. Until.

"I'll do it," Sage said. Eros gave a charming smile and reached out a hand for Sage to come take. And Sage did. He got up and walked up to Eros who put an arm on Sages back.

"Now just letting you know you want be able to remember any of this," Eros said to Sage. Sage nodded and Eros smiled. "Good now for this to work I need you to make eye contact with me," And sage complied looking into Eros's eyes. Then he froze. Sage was as still as a statue. We all watched as Eros's heart shaped pupils lined with a red hue and Sages slits for pupils took on the same hue.

Sage was under Eros 'love spell'. I smirked. Of course this was what Eros could do. Like mother like son. I never knew what he was capable of he just told me he would show me one day and I guess today was that day. Eros looked away from Sage but Sage never looked away from Eros.
