When Lesso took Caiden back to her room she felt . . . off in a way. She didn't know how to put it. Obviously she wasn't feeling bad for the girl. Right? Well she didn't know how bad Caiden's situation was. She didn't know the girl would be in so much pain. So much agony.

Lesso was looking into the fire that sat in her fireplace Caiden asleep mere feet away. The girl had calmed down after her mother left but from how much pain she was in she collapsed. So many questions wrapped around Lesso's mind. Why did she have this condition? Was it treatable? Why did she have to take care of the girl? Why couldn't she find her fucking whiskey?!

"Where the fuck am I?" Lesso flinched at hearing Caiden's voice. She lifted her gaze from the fire place and looked at the other.

"You're in my room," Lesso said walking over to stand next to Caiden. Caiden felt ad probably looked like shit. She didn't want to get up and she most certainly didn't want to deal with Lesso. Not after what happen a few hours ago. Or was it days? How long was she out for!?

"I see. How long have I been out for?" Caiden slurred out.

"A few hours. Are you in any pain? Feeling sick? Hot?" Lesso asked shoving her hands in her pockets. Caiden shrugged a little.

"I feel like I have a little bit of a headache and my hands hurt. But besides that and being tired I feel fine," Lesso smirked and lifted one of Caiden's hands that was laying down on the covers of Lesso's bed.

"Well that's probably why," Lesso said. Caiden looked in shock at her hand. Her hand was a dark black that stretched down her forearm and looked like cracks were having the substance fade out. Her nails were longer and sharper as well making it almost look like she was some monster.

"What the fuck?" Caiden questioned. She didn't like the look of them. Not only did she not know why they were there or what this stuff on her hands was but she didn't like looking like a monster. Well more of a monster she was. Caiden started panicking slightly.

"Hey Querido? Look at me," Lesso said softly. So soft Caiden had to do a double take. "We'll figure out what's going on. Don't freak out. It's alright," Lesso had taken both of Caiden's hands now and was looking down at her with a softness Caiden hadn't seen. Ever

"My family have been trying to figure out what this is for years. They've never gotten close at all to what this is," Caiden choked out. She was on the edge of sobbing. But she couldn't. Not in front of her fucking dean.

"Querido?" Lesso asked while letting go of Caiden's hands to move them to her face. Caiden looked up to Lesso and felt like she went into a trance.

"We'll figure it out alright? Maybe it'll take some time maybe it won't. Just know we'll figure it out alright?" All caiden could do was nod at Lesso's words not trusting her voice. Lesso gently let go of the side of Caidens face and leaned back up.

"Just know that you're still in trouble," Caiden grumbled and rolled her eyes.

"What do we have to do," Lesso smiled brightly which, though looked beautiful on her, Caiden was well aware that was not a good thing.

"Elle is making you and your group plan a winter dance for the Ever and Nevers," Caiden groaned.

"Fuck my life," She whispered out to which Lesso chuckled.

"You'll have to plan a theme, invitations, and have someone design and make dresses and suits," Lesso continued. Caiden let out a sigh and whispered out.
